Title: Ellusionist Dvd Collection?
Description: where can I get in Malaysia
Banzai - January 19, 2006 04:08 AM (GMT)
HI,
I am new here. :-)
I surfed Ellusionist.com site and quite interested in the Ellusionist DVD Collection (http://www.ellusionist.com/order/bundles/All-Ellusionist.htm?cat=141)
It says
"Ellusionist DVD Collection
Ten high-caliber total instruction DVDs, as well as almost $80 in free gifts. You won't believe the mindblowing secrets and new abilities that open up to you."
Its quite expensive USD322.65 + postage & handling charges some more. :-(
Would appreciate opinions/views from MMF members regarding the above product.
Also, is there anywhere in Malaysia where I can get it locally?
Thanks

hi jarett, but i don think that melting point is produced by ellusionist.. they're just selling it... they only produced the 10dvds in the bundle...

Hey...Jarret do you mean the Cesaral Melting Point....if thats you mean i think you need not just only the DVD but also the gimmick...It is because thic effect need two special coins are included..for more information just drop by to ellusionist website:http://www.ellusionist.com/order/Cesaral-Melting-Point.php?cat=

And jarret for ur information ... Melting point has arrived at Ellusionist . =)
Good luck with it .
Myself is planning another mini purchase soon ...
Superman sounds great to me .
Any1 has any info on it ? Not asking for exposure . lol
David.
And Happy new year to All
Edit : OOops forgot bout Banzai.
I suggest u purchase one or 2 videos first to learn. Search around the market and you might find magicians selling off their Dvds.
But if you really want to save and buy big ... definity the 10Dvds bundle is really worth every cents. but those 10 Dvds can keep you busy for years.
If you are new ... i really don't recommend that bundle . Its really just too much for a new learner. Even for any other magicians... its really too much at once .
But if you had lay out the road to be a great magician and active learner. Then no problem with that bundle.
Hope i helped .
=)
David.

BANZAI!!!I like that funny name...though I dont know if its really your name :P just kidding anyways I suggest just get "how to do street magic" DVD then slowly make your way through slowly...no need to rush....even that DVD tiself will keep your busy for some time....Good thing I buy for a fized price RM70 coz ellusionist is quite pricey...
SUPERMAN TO THE RESCUE!!!...I just saw the superman video after updating trouble maker from ellusionist and it rocks...I'll buy it if its not too pricey though....but I'll go for melting point first anyways...good luck in your magic  !!!
Jarrett ^_^

to everybody,
i think mmf policy we still not encourage piracy
no matter how we gonna justify it.
i dun deny i am also guilty in pirated stuff
yet we dun encourage it in the forum n we shud not tell ppl where to get pirated stuff lor ...
not to put flame *peace*
but i think as a respect to the magician/producer/law/ethic
again not putting flame ..
just a reminder in case we r too comfortable with it :)

Superman coin bend - I've heard this is really impractical. It's collecting dust in many people's drawers. Looks great, not good. Of course, some may like it.
i make a gimmick for coin bend which look like the superman effect. its a "something" that i added to boa bender. Anyone interested in that pirated boa gimmick can PM me about it.

Edit - Superman impractical ? I remember it saying very practical ... lol..

Hello fellows magicians.
I have a thought that I wanted to share with all of you. Pirated DVD are bad and consider as selling. So what is the different if someone bought the original and make copy and then sell the original as 2nd hand? Does that make any different to you? Please clear my confusion. This is a general statement which doesnt pin point to anyone here. Just a thought because it seem like there are so many 2nd hand DVD are ups for sale lately? I felt that it is rather stupid or it just doesnt make any senses if that person sell of the original DVDs without making a copies for him/her self. Please correct me if I am wrong.

i think its up to your decision since you own the dvd(bought)... at least you are selling the original one. its really sily if you sell off without copying one for yourself.. its a waste like you never own it. you might refer to it if you forgot the trick or miss out some parts. just my thought :D

i hope some mod will creat a new topic for this
actually some forum do not allowed magcian to sell out their original video
which it make sense to me .. ( not to poke fire just open discussion)
1st, u cant sell the knowledge
for example Ellusionist Revolution Coin Vanish
U bought the original and u learn it ..
the price u r not paying for the dvd but the knowledge.
So how can u sell the dvd unless u can find a way to erase your memory.
n now we not even sell it off but create another copy ..
2nd, which is the ethical point of view ..
if u r the seller and no moeney to earn n bla bla bla .. i think everybody know that.

This is kinda off topic...but
there are tons and tons of discussions on this matter in the magic cafe.
Its really interesting to read them and I recommend anyone keen to go read it there.
In my opinion,
there are 2 separate issues here.
Ethical and illegal.
selling of the original and keeping a copy for yourself is unethical.
selling a copy is illegal.
Thats my interpretation.
I hope this matter is put to rest.
Isaac, you don't need a mod to create a topic for this.
If you feel it deserves a discussion, create a topic.
Whatever you feel about this, if you decide to continue this discussion on ethics, don't do it in this thread. Create a new one under "principles and theory" section ok?
