Hi folks,
Just dusted off my bookshelf and found this old classic card magic book Bruce Smith, Card Tricks, 1st edition, 1995, Publisher: Arcturus.
It has some useful tips in it, just would like to share some of the useful tips here, hope you enjoy.
- Make sure you hve a clean dry surface to work on. It might be worth buying a small piece of carpet to use as your "close-up mat".

- Use a new pack of cards for each performance. Grubby old cards look unprofessional.

- Your audience will be mre impressed if you just do just one or two effects really well, than several effects poorly.

- It is always good to finish with your best effects.

- Never turn your back on an audience. That's when they might sneak out!

- Your effects will always have more impact if you 'routine' three or four of them together to make a short show.
