Title: Sorry Mmf
Description: My personal apologize to MMF

Vincent - February 13, 2006 03:25 AM (GMT)
Hello fellow magicians,

As everyone know who I am now, so i better cut it short without anymore introduction to do. I joined MMF in October last year and I found that it is a very good place for all magicians to meet and to exchange ideas. At first I do not really know how to get thing started but once I got it started, it seem like I can never stop finding something to post in here.
Since I am not a flourishes or card guy, I dont know what to post as most of the MMF members here are into cards, coins, flourishes and etc. So I think the only thing that I can post is all about Magic Ring Club and AMA.
Everythings looks great as I starting to get feedback from members here regarding the gathering, I started to get to know new magician and there was one member that we used to SMS quite often, Andrew Loh. Even though there is a age gap between us but we got along very well. Bravo Andrew!

And then suddenly someone just came in here and pixx me off. Guess that's my witnesses, when someone nice to me, then i be nicer to him/her but if someone came and be funny with me,then i be very mean. U may call it my temper or attitudes,it doesnt matter. I knew I have a uncontrolable fire in me.
So things got out of hand when Mr.Kiasu came and I guess I said things that are not suppose to be said in here.

As you all know what happened next, this thread has been lock by the operator, who is a very nice guy, he PM me and explain to me about his move and of course I am not offenced by what he did as I knew he is only doing his job to protect the interest of MMF. I really respected him for doing a good job here.

So I discover that ever since I joined this forum, there were many unwanted topic emerged. I bet you all know what i mean. I believe they are many members who are not happy with me, well it is ok as nobody can pleases everybody rite?

As I said earlier, the only topic that I have thing to post is all about MR and since MR causes so many debate to go on, then I think it is better for me to leave as I no longer wanna to cause anymore troubles to the operators here. The reason I said I respected him (the operator) is because he dont just edit or lock my topic for no reason, he will actually took the efforts to PM me and explain to me why he did so.Actually we had a understanding here but as I said my temper got me out of control everytimes.

So I guess from now on I will just drop in to look-see,look-see only and wont be posting anything here anymore. Because I know if I start to post, things will get out of hand again whenever there is someone try to be funny with me.So to any members who still want to keep in touch with me, you can still PM me or email me and I would be glad to reply.I welcome all questions and enquiry, but only in PM pls.
If you like, you can call or sms me.
In the future, if it happen that I have any upcoming events that I would want to inform, such as future gathering, parties or even lectures, I think most probably I will get Andrew Loh to help me to speard the news.

Alright,I guess that's all for now. Really nice to be here even though it was just about 4 months.Keep up the good work MMF, a standing ovation to all the operators and founders. And to all members, please Keep The Spirits of Magic Alive! Good bye and wish all of you ALL THE VERY BEST!

I am really glad you can understand my position and respect the administrative roles of the moderators Vincent. I've seen people throw big tantrums when their threads are locked in other forums. B)

Whatever the issue is, it doesn't belong in this thread and I hope nobody brings it up in here. If anyone still have something to say about it, please start a thread in Principles and Theories.

On you leaving, I hardly think that's necessary. You are a performing magician, I'm sure there's plenty you can talk about other than magic ring and it's activities. There are so many genre of magic discussion in here, surely some of them must be your cup of tea? ;)
If your type of magic is missing, please let the mods know and I'm sure we can add in a new category if we missed out something.

There's still a lot for you to contribute in MMF Vincent. That is, if you want to. I'm sure the people in here would be very keen to seek your advice on various aspects of magic from performance to audience/client management to technical reviews. A person of your knowledge would have no problem talking abt any of these topics I'm sure.

So you are welcome to stay and continue if you want, but if you feel that being limited to post about erm...controversy causing topics dampens your stay here, then we respect your decision too.

I'll look you up someday when I go up to KL yah?

Cheers

I was not online for the past 2 days and only came online today to read all the mess created here. Thanks Andrew and Jeff for SMSing and calling me. Appreciate ya concern.

Vincent, it was nice having u here and and trying to help magicians here out. But the topic of piracy etc etc just went out of control and then flamings happened, which they always do, i dont know why lol.

Anyway, like Aloy said, im sure you will have much to share and discuss with us here. You can share with us ya experience, performing overseas, audience reactions etc etc.. many things actually.

Yes, feel free to PM Andrew or me regarding any future gatherings.

Those that need more info abt MR or AMA Malaysia, please contact Vincent personally.

Wish u well in ya magic journey.

Regards,
Brendan

Hi Ray,

This is Vincent here, Magic Ring representative. You did mention that we are selling IT for RM60 rite? From the way you say it, it seem like we are over charging our customer but before you do so,please do some homework first. Yigal Mestika IT (Boomerang Card) is selling at USD$15 (excluding postage) online so do your own calculation and tell me how much will that come to?

If you think it is too expensive for you to buy IT, u either dont perform IT or you buy ladies panty hose and pull from from it.
So next time when you wanna to comment something, please do your homework well and act professional. This is a little piece of advice from me to you. Have a nice day and good bye!

I guess you shifted your anger from posts to PMs. With posts like these I doubt that you are a professional yourself.

Control yourself dude. What a magician does worst is becoming angry in the middle of performance.

This is a very old topic, and needs no more reply.
