Hi folks,
These two volumes of David Regal's books are just awesome and excellent. The effects are top quality and the illustrations are awesome too.
One thing, some people might ask, why there are two volumes and why not these two volumes combined into ONE BOOK.
I think the publishers are very smart because these two volumes actually there are some differences between them.
Volume 1 is 232 pages long, it is more on card magic with unprepared cards. 32 tricks and two magic lessons), David's Cups & Balls routine and ten effects without cards or coins (some great magic with a borrowed ring, too!)
Volume 2 is 239 pages long, it is filled with 14 card tricks (and two commentaries) with prepared cards, 13 mental tricks, ten tricks with sticky stuff, four neat money tricks and four gaffed deck bits. You even get his After Hours full-deck story (as in "Sam the Bellhop").
I am really enjoyed of these 2 volumes as all the book front covers are nicely made and it's full-size books printed on quality stock paper.
Not only that, sometimes I laugh when I read the book because David has some funny and comedy kind of elements in his patter and presentations. I know this patter will sure entertain the audience. :P
In closing, you will find lots of advice and enjoy the magic taught by David. Overall, these 2 volumes are well-written and personally, I think all the effects written by David came from his experience. In other words, you will get proven magic and excellent methods.
The books are US$39.95 each.
Best Wishes,
Andrew
