Is there any magic busker over here in MMF?
I'm quite curious how it works. I mean i'm not sure about what kind of effects are suitable for busking.
Rope? TT/IT work? or CARDs??
and how am i going to ask for money? do i need to purchase a tophat to do so? :P
do we need a special licene to busk?
Lastly, where is the most suitable place to busk?
I am really desprate for money right now, and i don't want to do 3 card monte during pasar malam.
Guys help me pls~
What is busks neways?Doing 3 card monte is really a bad thing to do during pasar malam lol.nobody in Malaysia might knwo about 3 card monte too.So sry I cant help you.I dont even know what to do.change note is still the best.Or work at restaurants part time.I thought of working table hopping at restaurant and earn money someday.Maybe it might be a cool thing to do.
You'll have to check with local police regarding laws covering busking or steet performing.
You want to do effects that are easily seen from the distance a crowd of people will be standing and use ones which have very good angles. I would recommend effects with rope, cups and balls, linking rings, ring off rope, die box, knitting needle through mirror, a monte card effect with large cards, egg bag, miser's dream, coins across with large coins (silver dollars), $100 Bill Tear, Chop Chop Cup, and Rising Cards. There are many more but the key is they have to be able to see the effect from a distance and you may be surrounded so angles are important. A small collapsible table is good to have. I would use the smallest props you can get away with since you will be on the move. You need a good script or patter. Attracting a crowd with a silent act is more difficult. Good luck. :D
thanks Larry your informations providied wil halp me alot :)
Last night I am celebrating my friend birthday in some chinese restaurant.
In my past knowledge,
Malaysian will never pay for busking.
They will watch and walk away.
However, got one guy play guitar and sing.
At first he couldn't get any attention.
But, he start to approach table by table.
And suprisingly Malaysian do pay for it.
I want to share this in case some people might think busking in Malaysia never work.
It do work if you know how to press the correct button.
