Sukyi - April 18, 2006 05:57 AM (GMT)
So now I know of Magic Ring(Times Sq), Magic Club(Summit), Magic-i(1U), Annexe, Rennoraine, Andy Magic(Sg Wang)... apart from these... what others are there? outside KL? maybe melaka, penang, johor, etc? anyone know of any outside KL?

Jeff Gan - April 18, 2006 06:06 AM (GMT)

Jarrett Goh - April 18, 2006 02:41 PM (GMT)
If they sell every Sunday at USJ 13,next time I go there I'm buying everything if the quality is consider par and above of my satisfaction.hehe :P

KenophLai - April 23, 2006 02:44 PM (GMT)

toys'R'us got sell some kiddy magic and some bad quality props also :)
there is one in JB also, plaza pelangi. though a bit over priced, but the videos are original. Yea i DO KNOW how to differentiate pirated and original copies.

MagicNewbie - May 8, 2006 06:34 AM (GMT)
Howdy,

I've been to those places mentioned and as of now, I still find that the shop in Summit USJ with the most friendly service. The folks there are more willing to share. The owner is not the handsomest guy in the world, I would say but don't let his looks deceive you. If you're looking for any props, just describe to him and he'll find for you.

Cheers

Jeff Gan - May 10, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
its already open a few weeks back
Look out for Magic i shop, located at the i-center, around the ice skating rink.

Jarrett Goh - May 24, 2006 01:12 PM (GMT)
Excellent,a magic store in Pyramid,my friend hates going to Summit, dont know why,but I love that place, since my friends always invite me to Pyramid,I end up coming back home 2 hours earlier than them because theres nothing to do at all.I only go to one shop at Summit and mess around there for over 4 hours sometimes, having nice expensive chinese tea with Steven Im  .

His workers are not friendly, they look at me as if they want to kill me,and are not willing to share anything, they speak bad english anyway. No offence but I think, although I've been to Magic ring only once, magic ring looks to me that they're service are much better than magic club.

At least next time I go to Pyramid I can go visit the magic shop.

Sukyi - May 26, 2006 03:45 AM (GMT)
Magic I in pyramid is quite nice. I know Daniel Hee(the owner of the outlet) personally, so it's quite easy to get along with the people there. Also, they have a Tarot reading area for Lenny there. Personally, I just like the sofa! Makes it feel very homely... but I doubt the average shopper will go in to a shop and relax on the sofa :P

A Kamil - May 30, 2006 09:04 AM (GMT)

Grajindo - March 8, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
erm, is there any magic stall/store in the East Malaysia? i only know that Miri got 2 stalls selling magic stuff.. any other place selling?

Paul Long - March 9, 2007 10:43 PM (GMT)
Hi. Been away for a long time. Basically because I moved to New Zealand end of January and I don't like to post if I have nothing decently significant to say ;)

Just a note that Malaysia has so many magic shops (big and small) and magic dealers compared to New Zealand. There's only two shops here - one in the South Island (I live in the North) and second just opened end of December in the North and is 70 km from where I live, and is still not set up properly from what I have gathered from the owner.

Appreciate the vast choice and selection you have in Malaysia!

Andrew Ang - March 12, 2007 10:39 AM (GMT)

The Magic Annexe is located in PJ, not Sungai Wang.

I Totally Agree with that, the dudes at Magic Club @ Summit are not that friendly......I'm like just looking around there and they totally look at like I'm gonna steal something ^_^

But the dudes at Magic-I @ Pyramid is way cooler, They'r very friendly they even show U a trick......

>> Need to buy new stuffs again.
What's the new stuff you want..?
Our Penang magic shop don't stock that many stage and parlour props.

>> By the way who's Barry. How can I reach him ?
Barry Khoo is 1 of the famous magician in Penang since the 80s (if I'm not mistaken). My last time met up with him was 4 years ago. I called him 2 months ago, we said we will come out for a casual gathering but until now both of us still haven't got the chance to meet up. If I happen to arrange a gathering with him, I'll let you know.

To ALL (Especially Penang people)

JACKY LEE's MAGIC SHOP has moved from Komtar to 3 rd Floor Prangin Mall.

Its sharing a shop lot with a Playstation shop, right at the doorway connecting the atrium A (where Wong Kok, Mega Pavilllion is) with the centre part of the mall (sorry guys this is the best description I could come up with).

Dave - November 6, 2007 04:51 AM (GMT)
TQ, Yinhowe.
I'll sure go to Prangin Mall to look for the Jacky's Magic Shop.
Looking for new stuff for my coming Christmas show.
