i got the book and i thought i'd share my opinion on it.
in a nutshell, its doenst reveal much secrets at all.
its more about blaine the man, his heroes (houdini), his experience shooting the 3 TV specials.
I just thought too much emphasis were on his endurance stunts.
It just wasn't my cup of tea.
overall, it was an ok read.

not lucky. damn smart. the clues made no sense to me at all.
Brendan Low - May 3, 2005 09:28 AM (GMT)
yeah man.... seriously.. i read thru the clues and just so hard for me to understand... i just dunno how she can put them all together and get to the place and finally found it.
it must have been determination and a lot of self brainstorming and puzzle solving to do. wow! amazing.

Holy mother... I've never even heard about this! Damn a hundred grand! That's a lot of shopping (and giving) to do!
But indeed, the clues are messed up, especially the route/root part. I've only known just a handful of people (including myself) who pronounce it root.
