Title: Hi

Hi I've been lurking in this forum until I noticed this section :).

I'm having my 18th birthday this Friday. Althought I've been learning magic for about 3 months but the process is very slow since I had to devote most of my time into studying because this is the most important year in secondary school.
I learn magic because it is an illusion thought by people that uses more than 10% of their brain. A new skill with hands is definately cool.

But anyways, I've got a problem with concealing card/s because of my stupid small hands. Maybe I'm not doing it right but my hands are really small compared to my friends anyway. I'm doing pumping or whatever finger exercise hoping that I could cover it with muscle.

I know this is an introduction section but can anyone explain to me how do online payments/transactions work? How do you guys make deals with each other? Sometimes I couldn't get what I wanted at magic shops because they aren't available or I fear that it is overpriced. Magic shops are also ultra rare in Malaysia. I'm living at the condo near Sogo in KL.

welcome welcome...

alot of us know each other personally... so, someone's bound to have a credit card to buy stuff online... also, fear of stuff being overpriced? well... that's something we all have to live with ;) ... magic is a pretty expensive hobby...

oh hi, kobokok. Yes, magic shop is rare. but ur now in the city which has the most magic shop. price are always like this EXPENSIVE. personally, i've spent more than thousands here. of course its through out all my magic years. im sure many here is also the same.

by the way, bout the small hand. mine is also small. But i guess ur still very new. anyway, magic is not only about methods, explanation, secrets or techniques. it also includes understanding, meaning. understanding on how to execute each moves properly, how to cover and angle. remember there is misdirection. use misdirection wit proper angle to cover ur small hand build.ok. u'll understand by doing some reading n looking into a mirror while doing it. anyway, happy training. feel free to ask.

n WELCOME TO MMF. good day :)

hey kobokok.

MMF's brendan is a master at cards, and he's got self-professed "small hands".

u don't need big hands to perform sleights, just a lot of practice.

good luck and welcome.
