i love comic and animation and my favourite animation of all time is "one piece".
as for comic, death note, conan, crayon shin( yea I'm kiddy so what :P) and those silly comic.

please post the name of your favourite book in this thread, i'd love to know more ppl whom share the same interest as me :)

Just for for info,In volume 24(if i remember correctly) of the Bizzare Adventure`s of JOJO or in Malaysia,the title is Penjelajah JOJO,the 2nd deal was introduced as well as a FARO and tenkai.This was performed by a gambler in the comic series.

In Detective Conan,volume 22(or further up),there was a case on a murder of a famous Japanese magician.Pigeon productions were brought up,levitations,etc.This was a really nice episode and the author went into lenghts for reasearch on manipulation.

In Penyiasat Remaja(Detective Kindaichi) which I forgot what episode it was,there was an episode on a magic club society.Very nicely done and was about escape artist and also illusionist.You might want to check it out because the writer IMO employed a japanese magician for comments because the illusions used were really popular ones and he knew the concept of their workings.

In Yakitate,there is a magician clown in it,who does simple tricks but this dumb clown tricks and unlogical and only can be done in the comic world.

I not really fan on anime or comic but watch a lot like deroamon, ultraman, karman rider, bleach, one piece, naruto, conan. These only japanese anime. Those Hong Kong anime/comic I go through as well. These only from east.

Those west comic or anime like transformer, x-men, most from marvel or disney I watch a lot.

Those anime or comic really come out fantastic idea.

Really~, it's damn a lot, take time to type out.

Currently waiting for the ultraman mobius.

I love Japanese Anime, but to tell you the truth, I am extremely lame when comes to drawing. I don't have a single skills at all in drawing comic. But I love Japanese Anime that's all.

I like the Japanese the way their drawing such as Dragon Ball, GTO, etc. Truly awesome! B)

actually there is a series that's prologue for GTO.
i love it too coz Onizuka is soo silly.
and you can see that he became more mature in GTO.
GTO is the comic that caused me to put in effort studying for my O'level last year.

highly recommended.

and i agree with Jeuze that we can get tons of ideas from anime and comic.

Anyone here can draw anime comics? I think nowadays anime is getting more and more popular. I think every Sunday "The Star" newspaper has an anime colomn for anime comic lovers.

I am impress some of their drawing skills, wow, some of their drawings are top-notch and nice. ^_^

Ahh, anime and comics. I just love them. There's too much of favourites that I think there wouldn't be enough space here, but....NARUTO ROCKS!!!

Oh, and I like Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai(power rangers and the like), Doraemon too and I'm 24 y.o. :lol: Always young at heart.

There's once a manga(japanese comics) called Magician2 (magician square, as in 'kuasa dua', I can't write the superscript 2). It's about, you guessed it, a magician. It's quit funny and they showed some simple beginner's trick in there too.
