So here it goes, Avery recently called me that there's gonna be a competition in July, this is for the stage magicians. If you're up for the challenge, go to this place:

Place: i-Magic
Location: Sunway Pyramid. You go in, go to the basement level, pass the ice skating rink, and it should be there in the corner. Talk to one of the magicians there regarding the competition, and you should be on your way.
Date: GDAMNIT I forgot the date!!! :( I'll fill you guys in ASAP.

So yes, there we go, the thing some of you have been waiting for. A COMPETITION! Go show off your magic, your skills, your entertainment value, and your pride, and you may come back home with prizes!

When you say stage magic, does it specifically apply to stage stuff (doves, illusions, sawing an old lady in half, etc)?

How bout stage versions of other types of magic, for instance........cough cough......mentalism?

It does,and has a mentalism catergory in it.Your act will be jusged accordingly.=)

i went to there to see final this wenesday which is 2 days ago... it was a great experience .. there din allow us to use cam to record the show. ha ha.. sad things so 4 those who wanna get the cd .. i think u need to ask magic-i and company. i meet many magician there woo.. i saw Avery woo.. he kinda good

the show start at bout 10.30 to about 1 or 2 ...
got illusion show, chinese magic art.. "bian nian" changing faces,, parasol production.. card manipulate... mental magic ... any many .. i just remember some only.. ha. tat time got a MCA datuk came also ..
i think the news will got in newspaper later on.. coz i saw some the star repoter at there taking pic.. ha

tat day i back home at 5.30am... coz yam cha with those fren then go skool at 6.30am .... just 15 minute sleep.... end up with sleep at skool..

erm... cannot take camcorder is true, but at least i manage to get some pictures... thanks to my laymen friends... hehehe.
