Tarbell course in magic

i heard it's the best and the most completed course in magic.
does anyone of you happen to own the set?
any review?

I am always so encouraged by Lai's passion, but sometimes I also panic when he willing to throw in a HUGE investment so quickly! :!!:

Dude, here's a MUCH cheaper version of Tarbell course.
http://www.lybrary.com/tarbell-course-p-34.html

The whole thing in a CD Rom, for almost 1/10th of the price you were going to pay for the printed version. The great part to having it on CD Rom is you can use a text search function to find specific stuff.

^_^ It's ok, you are welcome. You can buy me dinner next time. B)

And this website is perfectly legit. It's NOT piracy. They only sell copyright released books (i.e. books older than 50 years), or books specially granted permission for release in softcopy format (e.g. Card College).

Of course, this means you cannot carry it to read in a bus, but with the size of this monster, you wouldn't bring the book onto a bus either.

And yes, Tarbell course is one of the highest recommended books on magic. Many pros still refer to it for "new" material.

And remember to check in MMF before you make any big purchases! ^_^

May I recommend Books of Wonder too? B)

The shipping really will kill you.

If you are interested in the printed copies, i know someone in Singapore who MIGHT have the full volumes and want to sell them, Mr Charles Choo of Singapore.

At least you don't pay an arm and a leg for the shipping.

I will ask him to see if he was the full volumns for sale and how much he wants it for. I'll pass you his contact number if he's ok with it.

Charles Choo is a veteran in the SG magic scene and an ex-magic dealer. Some of you might have heard of him.

I just have little time back to forum. Here is my advise. If you really need something good items and info, pls don't stingy to buy a CD rom or low quality or useless items, cuz you will regret while u need to find some info instantly. If you are professional or experienced you know what I mean. I know u may say u r no rich....blah... I am so confuse, were I and others rich from began? Do you have to restaurant and go for shopping often? How much you spent each month? If you really like magic as a part of your life, or inside your blood. pls don't give yourself a excuse...

If you r not enough money, stop to buy it now. Make it as your desire. "IN three years I shall get it!" That is all my life in magic

just a little of sharing.
