I am considering purchasing the Extreme Rubberband magic dvd by Joe Rindfleisch. From the descriptions, the magic sounds good and visual. What do you guys think ?

Rubberband magic is a very visual magic. Rubberbands are very common and performing magic with common object will usually give high impact reactions. Using different colors of rubberbands and sizes will add more spice and variety to the magic effect. And lastly, one good thing performing with rubberbands, you are able to let your audience check the rubberbands before and after your performance.

Extreme Rubberband magic dvd by Joe Rindfleisch is an excellent dvd that teaches very good rubber band magic. His teaching style is good and its easy to understand. Although some of the shots are not clearly capture on the dvd but you can always slow-motion it until you are able to catch the techniques in excuting a particular move. As a whole, it would be a good learning material for beginners and intermediates alike who are taking up rubberband magic.

Personally, I would give it a rating of 7.5/10

Some additional tips.Most of the moves taught would require good quality and stretchable rubberbands such as rubber bands from US. The US rubber bands that I am using myself has a variety of colors such as neon green, orange, purple, pink, red, blue, yellow as well as different sizes which is needed for certain effect. This would give a strong lasting impression to the audiences.

The local rubberbands has quite poor quality and it will snaps easily. Not only that, it only come in one free size that is size 16 and one color only that is pale yellow.

It does thanks. But how are the tricks like ? are they very practical or are major setups needed ? Im looking to perform it under the anytime anywhere category

some of the effects require set up, most don't.

btw Lai, have you ever try using a jumbo rubber band for any effects or not?

i never heard about jumbo rubberbands before... ... the biggest i've seen in size 19 and it's not appopriate to use in my routine. My hands are too small for that.
