I've noticed in the world of flourishing that there is a few main videos talked about. There is Generation X, The System, Extreme Beginners and Showoff with cards. Which one is ideal for a veteran in magic, beginner in flourishing but has and will put in the time to learn? And which site sells it the cheapest?

P.S. I prefer a download than a DVD, I want to learn fast!

My recommendation is to learn the basic sybil first. Brian Tudor showoff vids are good, but I believe they are no more in production.

Best is to find a flourisher near you to show u and teach u the basics. Once u have the basics, I strongly recommend you to purchase The System at www.dananddave.com.

The best DVD on card flourishes. Dont get it until u have some basic skills.

Flourishes takes a lot of practice. Some moves can be v knacky and almost impossible at times... but dont give up.

Thanks Brenden. I'll see if my teacher can teach me the basics then I'll go for The System. Which is better to get the download or the DVD, are the extras in the DVD worth the money?

Sorry if the topic has been discussed many times before but I couldn't find a clear answer to which one to get with some people advising Extreme Beginners and some The System so I wanter to know for my own skill which one. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Often beginners love XB a lot. I dont really fancy if maybe coz I dont do much flourishes in it except for the fanning workshop which is great.

Often beginners find moves from System v hard to follow. Well... nothin is easy if you dont practice. Some beginners found it ok.

I'd get SYSTEM if I were you and really work on the moves. It will last u a long time. For XB... it was like i watch it once and next thing is in my shelf. For SYSTEM DVD.... I spent much more hours watching it. DVDs are better than downloads.

So, you decide.

I think it's crap when people say "Only get The System when you know the basic moves". Bullshit. The System was the first flourish DVD I ever had - I didn't even know a Revolution Cut before I got it, and I turned out ok.....

Nah, seriously, I would suggest not bothering with XB (It's not even the same style, it will not "improve" you before the System anyways).

I say just don't listen to this crap, and buy the System. YOU WILL BE GLAD that you did. :)

I suggest watch the Pasteboard Anime section first as it teaches in real life (with actual talking).
