Hello, everyone. The name's Rizal. I'm 16, I live in Malaysia, and I've been doing magic for about 10 months now. I've always been interested in magic, but a series of incidents are what really got me into magic. It was late last year I think, when my cousin showed me some cool tricks (he's really good.). I was impressed. Then, my mother found an old magic book. Then, 'Mondo Magic Singapore' was aired on AXN (The show was okay, but I've figured out most of the tricks performed.). And so, I started learning magic.
I'm interested in all kinds of magic, but I focus mainly on card and coin tricks, especially inpromptu ones or ones that require little preparation. Uh, so... Yeah. I guess that's all for now.

EDIT: I just realised that my cousin who showed me all those tricks is also in the MMF forums. He's Shukri J. >_<

Nice to have you here. I to am new to the magic world.
I did catch that episode of mondo magic in singapore, i watched it on sunday night. Amazing tricks they have performed. Do check out other sensational performers like Darren Brown,which more of mentalism, or even Cyril since you have interest in close up performaces.

Thanks for the warm... Um, yeah, warm welcome. Just a word of warning: As happy and proud as I am to be related to (Abang) Shukri, my abilities are nowhere near his. In fact, if you ask him, this is what he would say: "Rizal? He sucks." >_<
Either way, I shall continue practicing till... till... Bah, I'll just continue practicing.

Welcome. sorry for the late welcome. Busy period. Malay, Chinese, Indian whatever ... only criteria is that you are into magic and mutual respect, right? Though personally I would love to see (more of hear actually) magic patter in BM. That would be a good learning experience for me as most I hear is in English
