Dude, I'm probably gonna go to Melbourne early next year to continue my study (and finish my degree). Where are you guys at? RMIT? Swinburne? I haven't been to Melbourne before (Perth is the only place in Australia that I've been in). We should totally meet up when I'm there. So yeah, here are some questions :P

magic wise:
1. How's magic there?
2. How are the magicians there?

nonmagic wise:
1. How are the surf spots? Surf as in surfing the waves, not the internet lol ;p
2. How are the skate spots?
3. You guys know any bboys?
4. How is the underground music scene there?

Thanks :D Feel free for anyone else to answer to any of the questions above :D

Surf Sport..... its no worries in Aus.

Bondi Beach is their famous one. Huge waves, plenty of chicks and you'd sure love it if u like the beach!

Skate Parks.... its a no worry as well Kam. Skate scenes in Aus is awesome. They have a few indoor skate parks as well as outdoor.

Kam, u skateboard rite?

I used to do Aggressive In-line. My fav grind was royal and soul grind and Unity. I use to wax places up just to do the stunts lol. Man, that was so long ago haha. Famous In-liners during my time it was Bryan Bell, Arlo Eisenberg etc. Anyone here does inline skating?

If u're in PErth (the place i used to study at), Scarborough or Cottesloe beach. Boggie board or Body boarding is cool.

I miss Australia.... :(

Kam - September 26, 2006 09:53 AM (GMT)
I did some googling and it came up with Queenscliff which I think is the closest to Melbourne area. How's the stuff there? Where's Bondi Beach at?

I have some contacts down there who skate regularly. Tas Papas is from Aus (not that I know him or anything -_- )

I don't know jack about in-line man lol, I used to do that too, but not so much. I'm much more into skateboarding, and I wanna take up surfing when I get to Australia.

AAAAH extreme sports are the best ;)

The melbourne magic scene is around the city.
There are magic clubs both at RMIT and Melbourne Uni...so take your pick :)
