Just out of curiosity, was the file in pure AVI format?

If so, you might find this to be a problem. I suggest re-rendering any webcam videos in Windows Movie Maker (or better if you have the equipment). And things should be cleared up.

Just out of curiousity as well, why would you wanna put up a video of you doing a sleight (not effect, mind you) on the internet? Sleights are just components of a whole effect and in my opinion should not be viewed by laypublic on its own.

If not done well, it'd just be an opportunity for exposure. With most video editing software, one could slow it down, playback, watch repeatedly...you get the idea? Sites like youtube are open to everyone to watch.

I'm not trying to be harsh on you but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Post up whole effects if you must post something, not sleights on its own.

Just my 2 cents.

Anyone know any good, free program to record video with iSight?

no no...not just a sleight....hehe sorry, sounded pretty bad when i re-read it...the pass was just a trial thing....deleted it minutes after...just thought id try recording sumthing simple before i actually record an effect...

where can one get the movie maker???

I believe every computer has already got Window Movie Maker installed.

Check under accessories.

It is a good program to start out and make simple videos.

Videos on various passes are actually v nice to watch. But of course only if you do them nicely. :P.

Same goes for videos on CCs.
