Better than a lot of webcam performances I've seen for sure, but it still wasn't the best I've seen either. Everying was great until the phase where you place the card into the fan, then did the little cut/flourish, that part didn't flow at all.

But the rest was good, I liked it. :)

Also, the Cardini Change at the end was done quite badly, work on not covering the card up so much, at least half of the card should be seen and the change should be visual. The motive I got from yours was like an Erdnase, where the hand completely covers the card - the Cardini Change is not like that.

Haha thanks lapping!!!!i just changed the vid...thot me in shorts dint look good on camera haha used ma baby black tiger for the latest vid...was actually the ego change....hard to get a nice angle to show it off...

Hey Nadzri,

That was a pretty cool vid of the ambitious. The pass looked good, venthough cant really see cause the cam quality was bad & blurry. ;)

The grip before the cardini change kinda gave it away that u gonna do the move though.. hehe and doing it front on from top/front would look much better IMO.

Other than that... great to see you finally got to know how to use win movie maker. Not bad for a first quality vid. Just get a better cam and it will be much better :). Cheers for the vid!

The "Ego Change" is actually The Cardini Snap change (because of the snapping sound it sometimes makes), or the "Coffin Colour Change" published in "Spectacle" on pager 45 (Stephen Minch, 1990). :)

Daniel Garcia purely popularized the move, he didn't invent it at all, much like most of his material on the market.

P.S. The best-looking angle for the change is the front angle. :)

err can i ask wat is the name of the move when he fans the card then puts the card in the middle then the card then the card appears on top...wats the move called?seen it many times but dunno wat it call ><(the move happen around 1mins)

Lapping - September 20, 2006 03:42 PM (GMT)
Szehowe, whilst I'm sure that the move is in print somewhere, I think it's a move that most magicians "make up" on their own accord. I know Simon Lovell's "FLOOP" can be used in this mannor but the original plantation I cannot begin to imagine.

hey szehowe...

honest to god i dont know haha kinda got that into my ambitious card routine when i was playing around with the Buck twins "Card to mouth". Simon Lovell's FLOOP was in it as the force and an excellent flourishy double lift...hehe

hope that kinda answers your question....

szehowe - September 24, 2006 05:33 AM (GMT)
haha k...i know how to do but alwiz dunno wat the moves call ><..in my opinion we must know wat moves are we doing is created by who...thank them for creating such a wonderful trick/sleight/flourish so that we can show it to others oso...is like thanking ur teachers teaching u

I can’t stand bad quality video. Please adjust the focus, frame rate, and try to re-film if you can. Thanks… I can’t comment now as I only watch about 10 seconds of it.

Eric Liew - September 24, 2006 07:54 AM (GMT)
Not sure what move that is called, but a variation of the move which serves the same purpose but where the card is turned face down without outjogging it to display the selected card is called The Tip-Over Addition from Card College #1

Jeff, that was very unfair indeed, very unfair. Just because the quality of the video doesn't stand up to expectations means the performance will not be watched? Even if he did re-film with better quality, it doesn't change or justify the performance.

Ha-ha... Jordan and Nadz... Alright, my bad my bad... At least adjust the focus as it is out of focus. Imagine you watch TV without wearing your glasses (if you are short-sighted like me).
Ok, I watched the video. Not bad. I agree with Jordan on the fan part and the color change. Cardini Change is best done on front angle I believe, and because of the method you can pretty much don’t have to cover the card. Keep it up! ;)

Nadzri - September 25, 2006 08:59 AM (GMT)
nah, no werries jeff...will keep those stuff in mind for future recording...hehe was my first ever attempt at recording and movie maker, so u gotta gimme chance lah haha :P
