We've been getting more and more members and are still growing.

Just wondering, how did you guys came across the MMF forum?

Was it from a friend, by yaself surfing, searching etc etc? Let us know. It would be interesting to hear from everyone.

Well, before I joined MMF i started my own magic forum, which I neglected and left to wither and die slowly in the annals of the internet.

Then one day I found this site called magicvideodepot.com and spent a lot of time watching magic videos. Soon I stumbled upon a Malaysian magician and sent him a message asking to meet up. He wasn't free to meet but he gave me the URL for MMF.

The rest is history.

Brendan found me on the Magic Cafe .... then asked me to join MMF ... :rolleyes:

Aloy told me about MMF in my 1st SMC meeting :)

then MMF appear at the top of page...

I found this forum exactly the same way Baalan did. ALMOST the same.I first came across Magic Video Depot and started watching heaps of videos there and commenting on many of the videos and also posting in the forums there.

Suddenly one day this one Malaysian guy in the name of "Malcolm Tang"(I love that guy, he respects the art of magic very deeply and I respect him for that),he recommended me the now ever growing forum, Malaysia Magic Fellowship. After I registered here I stopped spending my time at Magic Video Depot for sometime, until late this year I become active at Magic Video Depot while being constantly active at Malaysia Magic Fellowship as well.

Yeah, when this forum just started.... there were only two of us... Aloy and I, no topics, no members... empty forum. So we went hunting to various forums to search for Malaysian magicians in that forums.

It was great to see that MMF is also one of the top of the list when you google words with magic and malaysia in it.

We now have pros, amatuers and begineers in this forum. We have some wise elders, working adults, university/college students and even those still in secondary schools here. Good to have a mixture of people here from around the country. Also.... there are also a few members that visits our forums who are from overseas too :). Majority of us are guys but we have a few gals in this forum already, which is always a good thing.

We have to say we have many many non active members but we have quite a number of loyal contributers which makes what the forum is today. :).

A lot of the time, I feel, it is via word of mouth as well that people tell other people abt this forum. I've actually met a lot of other magicians around. But the thing is, they are not "online" people so they never or cant visit forums and have no time to contribute. But yes, many has heard of our MMF. :)

I actually have long wanted a forum but never thought I would start one (and also I have no computer skills). Super big thanks to Aloy who started SMC and prompted and discussed with me regarding having a forum in Malaysia as well. :).

MMF now have a good team of Admins, Mods and Members here. We believe magic in Malaysia can grow more and magicians helping magicians (sounds familiar.. hehe) here to improve our skills and strive for excellence in our Art.

Keep on contributing to this forum and may we all not only take this forum as an online thing only but also a chance to make friends with other magicians. It is great to see some of us here have already build close friendships with one another. Keep it up!

i actually also type "magic malaysia forum" in google when i really fall in love with magic few months ago...then mmf came on top of the list..then i tried double click it..the rest is history ^_^

well me...i was looking for magic in asia.....singapore and malaysia mainly...then i came across SMC....tried regstering for their forums but i couldnt...then i saw the MMF link....registered.....n BAM!!!!ive been coming here almost everyday since haha lovin the forum guys!!!

its 2:30am...let me jus ramble on and on about things hehe :P

well for me..im posting stuff at blueserver forum.. a game forum then..saw 1 post
telling me about MMF .. so i pay a visit and found it interesting so i join here and meet alot of nice guys :lol:

Ended up hunting for malaysia magic circle in Google. LOL!

And here I am. ^_^

Search "Malaysia Magic" in google end up here.

The other way I try to search Masked Magician Forum or "MMF", end up here.
