Although this book you will not find any powerful or killer magic routines (yes this book will teach you only beginners magic) but Tom Ogden provided lots of his experiences and advice in dealing of magic show business, how to have a successful magic show or business, he also covered your attire during performance, some do's and don'ts in magic, and many more.

On top of that, he also provided some magic history which might catch you attentions and coupled with some famous magicians' quotes which are very useful.

In other words, this book is like covered a lot of things like 'YOU NEED TO KNOW & LEARN" type.

All these valuable pieces of information can really aid in contributing of your magical carrer success.

Folks, if you don't habe this book, try to get them and this book I bought in Jaya Jusco "Times Bookshop" in Melaka. I believe this book can be reached at many normal bookstores.

I highly recommended this book to beginners as well as those magicians that need some knowledge in his magical journey and involve in magic performance business.

i actually have this book! :P its pretty useful, too. i recommend it for those interested in starting out, too.

i already have Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic book which is pretty complete for beginners.

Do u recommend i still get Idiot's guide?

hehe... yeah i came through that book abt 6 months ago when i was at jusco too. i cant remember if the book was wrapped up or not but i beleive i did opened it up to have a look wat was inside heehe. i spent some time looking thru it there...lol quite good.

there's another book called magic for dummies which is pretty much the same as the complete idiots guide. that's a pretty good book for beginners too, i guess.
