Title: Hardboard And Duct Tape Magic Show
Description: Do It Yourself Stage Magic

Jim Gerrish's latest e-book is on how to make magic props with Hardboard and Duct tape, just as the title suggests. He startes with some easy projects, like a trick called "What's Up?" and a Black Art Table with a PVC pipe base, but soon he will be adding more complex tricks, many of them original, or revised with original twists. The series will be in four e-books, with the last e-book on just making Illusions from two foot by four foot pieces of hardboard, son the Illusions pack flat down to that size for easy transportation. You can read the Table of Contents for all four e-books on my site, and keep track of them as they come on line if you are interested.

so...... where or how can I get the e-book, is it free or do I need to pay?

You should look over the descriptions first, by going to my site (check my signature). If it looks like something you would be interested in, you then have two options- figure out how to make the props on your own, the way Jim Gerrish did, or pay him to teach you how to do it with his plans, instructions and photos in the e-book. I used to love browsing through magic store catalogs (I still do!) and figuring out for myself how I would make the tricks work, and then build the props myself. The only ones I bought were the ones that had me completely puzzled.

Just an update- Jim is now well into Book Two, and his latest article shows how to make four different dove vanish boxes. I realize that dove magic may be having hard times because of the bird flu in certain regions, but these boxes will work with other animals, or even stuffed dolls. The vanish of an animal or object is one of the most difficult magic feats. When you make an animal appear, you catch the audience by surprise and it's too late for them to try to figure out where it came from. But when you vanish something, the audience immediately begins to check out all the places it could have gone. Jim gives some new twists to old vanishes so that the boxes can be taken apart and handed to a spectator piece by piece, with no clue as to where the animal went when it disappeared.
