I just got my GHOST deck from MR. I must say the deck is appealing especially the way the hearts have a black border around them so does the diamonds.
I would like to extend my appreciation to George in MR who definately did a swell job in attending to me and my sister. Even my sister thought i knew him before this, but i told her it is my first time meeting him.

ghost deck is nice,you can try ghost gaff as well...but their finish are different.
i love the spade ace and jokers...their backs...hope ellusionist will release black ghost which have the best backs(for me)
IMO ghost gaff have the normal air-cushion as normal bikes although its stated on the box as UV500 but the feel is oily n slippery like the normal bikes.
anyway its gimmick deck that you might not using it so often...their finish is not important...

Arrrrrrrr, i hate to say this, but Ghost is my favourite among all the cards available out there, runnin smooth, and it really really last longer than any deck out there, even if it is use more than 9 month, my Ghost still can fan like butter.....haha...8 more Ghost to come on december...hehe...

The ace of spade, really impressed me a lot, i really like the small detail on it, the lil snake head, the hand, etc....haha, and the joker...wow, nice revealation can be done wit the card...hehe....jus like it...

u meant after using ur ghost for 9 months it still can fan???

mine cant even perform one-handed fan after 1 week usage...
maybe now i had more time to play around with my cards everyday,the deck may worn out..

so you're getting 8 more ghost decks for MR or online shopping??
if buying online you can start a MO...i'm interested in getting ghost too...

hehe, u try to put ur Ghost aside inside a box and in a cool and dry place for a week or two, it will be gettin better, trust me, i learnt this from one of my magic buddy in UK....hehe

For the 8 Ghost deck, my fren cousin in US bought it online for me, she shall be back to Malaysia soon....hehe, so i ll gettin them soon.....

magic shops in HK selling cards at insane prices...Ghost at app.RM23(HKD45) and in selected period jz app.RM18(HKD36) u can have it on your palm...

but the shops do not provide any international sales...so no choice have to visit HK for those prices

hi, i'm new here.

i just wanted 2 tell me n my fren's experience on this card.

both of us have the same problem, the card seem to be concave.
we didnt do anything 2 the card, yet is bend.

no doubt the card is beutiful and have good quality, but it seem's the card layer didnt make from the same meterial making it bend.

i dun know about u guys, i bought my card in kl, and my fren order it throught the internet. both of us have the same prob.

so my ghost deck goes straight away to my collectible stash.

No doubt that Ghost cards look awesome and are great for flourishes and displays.. However for a person to use it for magic, there is 1 big disavantage, IMHO. Although the pips of the diamonds and hearts are colored red, the rest of the spots are not, therefore, making it highly possible that the spectator may miscall a selected card. The C, H, S, D all look almost the same now. Your color changes will become... colorless... :D
so, might not be so good for magic users.

What is the ghost deck used for anyways?is it like the bicycle deck thats special in terms of its quality and the material its made off?or is it a gimmick card, as in we can do all sorts of tricks,like a stripper deck or u know svengali,thats gimmicked.Do reply and thks...m new to this magic stuff..so pls help me where possible people.THKS

A ghost deck is a fancy looking Bicycle brand deck of cards.
Its an ungaffed deck.

Ghost is a pretty high quality card...


but bicycle is better to performance.........

Yes I agree that ghost decks have superior quality as the cards are much thicker therefore can last in our weather conditions.. (Mine lasted for a year and it still fans well ;) )

The thing with the ghost deck that I have experienced which is the same problem that i have with my black tiger and my viper decks, which is once a MALAYSIAN sees an abnormal deck of cards they have like the mind set to think that its a gimmick deck even though I let them inspect the decks.

Therefore the effect of the tricks that you have performed will be greatly reduced... :(

I agree with jon goh about the custom decks.

Now, dont know whether want to get the BTD or Viper....

My advice to you is to get a viper it looks much cooler than a BTD and the finish is of a higher class all by itself... Also a BTD corners or sides of the cards tend to peel off and become thus just spoiling the deck... Also for the viper black pips its silver in color...

might be getting them both..hehehe :)

the ghost deck look rather plain to me..all white in colour..

but the ace of spades really look beautiful though..

i think currently the nicest deck would be the shadow master's deck..what a piece of art.

My favorite deck at the moment is Bicycle Poker Peeks. You could probably google them.

About BTD peeling, I haven't see of heard of that before. Does it flake off or something or do the corners just wear in? Between the BTD and the Viper, if it happens in one, it should happen in the other, as far as I know.

With regards to BTD and Viper in terms of looks, it comes down to what you like. Some people like the naked angel on the bicycle, some like the circles and patterns of the viper.

Lastly, Viper, BTD and Ghost, if you're in to collect, get all 3. If you're in to flourish or do magic, get none. Personally, I like regular bikes and tallys to flourish with. Since they are softer, it's easier to flourish with and not as hard to break them in. Also, it's not as heart break to wear in a bike deck, compared to a collector's deck.
