Hi,
Haha, thats what you call a Card Through Window, not card stick window trick..
It look very very clean and very visual too....erm..i wonder...
Nice day ^^
mannthusiastic - November 15, 2006 08:27 AM (GMT)
Yah, the trick look clean in my opinion. I imagine what would be the reactions I could get after performing this especially on a car window!. I mean, it's THROUGH the window man.

any of you guys planning to get KAOS?.....cause if you are, you guys have to perform it for me....HAHAHA
Nadzri - November 15, 2006 10:20 AM (GMT)
hahaha i dont know...i have a feeling i know how its done....but thats usually wrong hahaha i am downloading it tomorrow!!!!haha
but the only downside would be getting your cards all dirty when the spectator drops them all :(
haha

Anyone got this yet? Loads of edit work on the preview. I'm impressed by the marketing skill of ellusionist on simple trick. Anyway, it does get all the reactions from the audience, and that's what we're looking for!
I prefer the selected card stick on the glass when bunch of cards are throwed towards it. Kaos has the different approach on CTW, and perhaps less/no set up compare to the normal CTW approach.
Anyone who got this please post a review, I'm looking forward to it!
mannthusiastic - November 17, 2006 11:42 AM (GMT)
I am not planning on purchasing it YET. but I will.

anyways....if anyone gets it please post a review up ay..

Nasty Nadz

KAOS is a very interesting and fresh idea by Sean
Pro:
1st, it is totally impromptu and no set up :D
2nd, A pretty visual CTW effect
3rd, the only CTW version that audience is involve (the other verion, they stand there and just look at it "happen")
4th, Direct penetration
5th, very creative idea by Sean, with Daniel Garcia teaching it on video. Brad, Wayne Houchin and Jonathan Bayme refining it and giving ideas to the effects.
Con
1st, well, is not those type of effect that will fool magician or some mind blowing effect. It is simple (which simplicity is the best for me)
2nd, angle sensetive (you will know what I mean when you get it)
3rd, you need to be good at audience management. a new magician might find it hard to control the audience.
7.5 out of 10 for me. :D

Yes, EVERYTHING from E is over hyped.
But I have to give their marketing skill two thumbs up! B)
DesiWN - November 21, 2006 10:19 AM (GMT)
Cool, i saw the preview on E, gotta say they hyped it up pretty well, like indescent, but then again KAOS & CTW is rather defferent kinda a effect one is seen slowly penetrating & the other is stuck to the other side, all i can say that both effect is really awseome, but then again, its up to you what kinda effect suits u better, but its just my opinion if both works well that go ahead, cheers have a great day :)

This is the only CTW effect I will perform...
I think...
Yen Loong - November 28, 2006 06:29 AM (GMT)
Hi
Hehe, yup.... the only card through window effect that i perform too... the method, the handing, the reaction from the spectator.....hehe.
Nice day ^_^

KAOS is one of the most obvious trick I've ever seen ....
1.We cannot see how he pulls it out, and in the preview he only shows the other side of the window after he has pulled it out.
2.There are no spectators behind him, unless he is covering the view.
3.I figured it out and got this trick from my friend, and the way I figured it out is exactly the same.
4.I did this trick to my 11 year old brother and he could figure out the main thing I was doing.
Sorry to say this but I don't recommend this trick... John Kennedy's Card Thru Window is the best, only that it is too expensive.
brandonb - July 31, 2007 08:39 AM (GMT)
I have performed it several time, and all goes well.
Key point is :
1. Must have less audience. The lesser the better. 1 to 1 will be great.
2. The way you handle the "card" before pass it to audience to do shuffling and after the audience spread the card on window.
3. The clean up.

I would say the other CTW effects are much stronger than Kaos.
Kaos is very different from the previous CTWs.
In other CTWs, the magicians take the selected card, place it inside the deck and toss it at the window. The card then appears BEHIND the window. The most important thing is the opposite side of the window is not accessible to the magician. This is what makes these CTWs so strong.
Kaos on the other hand is a "surgical removal of a card through the glass". The surgical removal part is not that visual, as the rest of the cards are blocking the penetration. The opposite side of the glass is accessible to the magician, and everyone else. Hence it is not as strong as other versions of CTW, where the opposite side of the glass is not accessible.
The good thing about Kaos is it is highly impromptu. Most other CTWs require a special something, and it is very hard for you to do it on the spot.
If you want impromptu magic, go for Kaos.
If you want something more visual and impossible, but require some set up, go for the other CTWs on the market.
