So the card magic section just feel like dead a few weeks already, haha, hope someone can bring it back alive, today i was sitting down, play cards, think of a new ACR, which i gonna perform...

1 . Spin doctor double
2 . Tilt change
3 . Jerry Sadowitz side jog control
4 . Elevator Chris Kenner

How you guys think??

THat is some pretty technical sleights there for ACR, unless u are trying to impress magicians with ya skills and mechanics.

Normally, for laymen, I'd just do the usuals. Born to perform style like Oz Pearlman.

And as for Elevator... IMO.. its best done somewhere noisy. U dont want them to hear the "snap" if u know wat i mean. I aint smooth with that move... hardly practice it. Yet to see someone do it well in real life.

Haha, yup you are right Brendan. Nowadays i try to learn some magician fooler tricks, cos some of my friends actually did some searching from the internet and know some knowledge on magic. Thats the ACR i told you on msn, hehe...

As for Elevator, i find a pretty nice subtleties to cover the 'snap' and some kind of technique...hehe...

my acr routine is a mixture of btp and brad christion version he taught in ninja...kinda mixed it with simple sleight ^_^ coz i aint good to perform hardcore sleights man :P ..yeah good enough to amaze a laymen i will be happy...so far my acr nvr fail to amaze laymen except my gf :lol: ...yeah 1 more thing...yen loong how u end your acr?i usually end with card to mouth..

Hi sze howe, i used to end my ACR with Braue pop up move, hehe, but then i learned the elavator move which is taught by a friend of mine, i practice it, hope now it is fine, for almost 3 months d, haha, finally now can perform it...

I have never enjoyed the plot of the Ambitious Card. Much like the Oil and Water effect, it is the "cards that do all the work" - not the magician. For that reason alone I dislike it. ACR plot is very basic indeed and in plain reality is VERY boring to watch. The same thing happens a tonn of times. Unless you have variation in your handling (card jumps to the bottom, pocket, mouth, cardwallet) then your routine is most likely enough to fall asleep, unless you only perform 3-4 phases unlike a large 20-phase routine.

Those are my views on the Abitious Card and as you can probably tell, I don't bother with it.
