Welcome to Malaysia Magic Fellowship, the place for our local magic connections in Malaysia.

We are still very new so the rules and regulations are still in the formation period. If you have any suggestions/comments please let us know thru the feedback section. In the meantime, this is what we have, you will find them not only reasonable, but also very lax compared to other places:

1) Non Exposure
I'm sure most are familiar with this rule. Basically dun ask "How did so-and-so do that trick?". And dun give away any magic secret. We are NOT here to ruin the art of magic, but to facilitate its growth and development. There are many resources (books and DVDs) that is available if anyone is serious about learning magic.
You can however ask where to learn a certain trick or advice about where to start learning. Also PLEASE do NOT post other people's video without permission. If u want to post a vid, make sure it is urs.

PLEASE use abbreviations of sleights or gimmicks (Eg. dl, it). dont make it too obvious.

Know explanations of how a trick is done. If you want to discuss, you can PM one who is willing to discuss with you. Dont expect an answer by asking openly in forum coz it wouldnt get you any answer.

2) No Profanity
I have not turned on the language filter so I am leaving it to you to uphold this. We have people of all age in here so please do mind your language. If your feelings/opinions cannot be effective expressed with the english language, choose to use symbol combinations (e.g. @^@$%%@#) rather than a word which may cause many unhappy misunderstanding.

3) No selling/trading of Pirated DVDs or Video
There will be no selling or trading pirated DVDs/VCD/videos in this forum. Anyone found selling pirated material in the forums will be banned.

4) Links goes to the links section
We have a section for members to add links to their own webpage or favourite dealers, please post your links there and NOT post advertisments everywhere. However, if a link is relevant to a topic posting (e.g. product review with a link to product page at a magic dealers), it is fair and acceptable. This rule is a bit vague so your cooperation is requested. The rule of thumb is to just not blatantly use the board as a means of advertisment.

Please do your best to observe the rules while using the forum.

Failure to obey the rules, you may be warned or even banned.

Most important of all, have lotsa fun and learn from each other. I sincerely hope this forum can make your magic experience where ever you are in Malaysia a more fruitful and enriching one.

Guys, as the forum is getting larger and larger by the min, there will be new rules coming out in the near future. Keep yaself updated from time to time.

Recent adjustment:

- One has to be registered in order to post.

Ensure all links posted up do not lead to websites that contain magic exposure.
Links leading to magic exposure will be removed.

The usage of SMS English will not be tolerated.
Repeated use will earn you a suspension/ban.
