Dear guys and gals,

We both know card magic and card flourishes are different art all together even though quite a number of us and new age cardicians combine their flourish skills with card magic.

For a laymen to learn magic... from a mentor or from a teacher, one would normally charged.... quite a steep price? Im not sure how much though.

But what abt if someone is interested in learning flourishes?

I know of people wanting to pay to learn card flourishes or in order to learn certain creators moves. Some would give tutorials for free but others wont. Just wondering what should you say to someone who wanna learn flourishes.... and like you to be their mentor, asking you to spend time with them teaching them every thing u know abt flourishes....

Do you go by Hour? Or do you go by each flourishes taught?

It is an interesting question I always ask myself. Most of the time... i just tell them to get DVD and when got problem only come and look for me and ill go through with them for free. I dont feel quite right to charge people to teach a move that can be learn from a DVD. I wil ask them to get the DVD. IF they dont want to get the DVD... hehe... lol i'll probably say.. u wanna learn ah... ok RM10/20 bucks to learn this flourish... haha... and see how desperate the student can be.

I guess one on one live tutoring is always easier to teach and grasp compared to tutorials online or DVDs.....

Who would be interested in flourish workshop if conducted? And how much would u pay? Say if it is a 2hr worshop.... covering basic fundamental stuff from breaking the deck, things to learn abt decks and their finishes, fanning, false cuts, sybils, eye candy cuts, displays etc etc.

hmmmm.... just an interesting thought. What's ya thought on this?

wow..its seem great..even thought i'm poor and less interest in card, but ectually card is the simple perform and simple carried tricks...

After seeing some example performance from youtube, i'm get interested in learning flourish. it shows our skillful and experties in handling cards.

Hm, I think I would like to learn it. But when come to price, I dont know how to evaluate it.

"Alah membeli, menang memakai". As long as it is priceable, acceptable price, it's ok for me to join it.

p/s:it is covering all things just like XCM?
