hi every1, im thinking to open a magic concept cafe.. do u guys hav any idea? me n my partner can perform magic quite well but juz too simple.. we only know card tricks only.. any 1 can teach us how to improve n wat magic should we perform? im looking for video of cyril takayama.. is there any video in the market? its too boring if juz perform card tricks.. we would like to perform magic with beers? food? or any others? comment pls~~ thanx

If they waiting staffs are highly skilled in magic, they wouldn't be waiting. If they are not very skilled, they shouldn't be performing. Kinda catch-22 situation?

so maybe i'll find those person juz like shawn, a magic hobbyist n can be my waiter, or weekend special guest to perform.. of course i'll buy those DVD n we can learn together... isnt it nice? can perform magic n learn new tricks as well..

I agree. that book has everything in there, from rope to coin and sponge balls and cups and balls....

another would be Dummies guide to magic. I know it sounds lame, but the book covers a wide area of diff types of magic. Should check both out

Mark Wilson Complete Course is Superd for those who are new in magic.

I guess it cover most of the basic stuffs.
I use the simple routine of Cups and Balls in that book during my part time in Magic I.

Very nice book and prehaps you can use it in your restaurant act.

Doc Eason Bar Magic series contain some very good routines that are easy to do and also entertaining. ;)

I most definitely second that. It is a very good series, and teaches not just tricks but also the presentation.

I did a trick out of there. Someone loved it like :wub: lol

Oh well if it works it works. Doc Eason is a very entertaining magician to watch, and the performances are all recorded using real audiences, not the LnL ones haha.
