Hey Everyone,

My name is Douglas Tan and I am a 3rd year Law student at the University of Nottingham. I am also the President of the University Magic Society. I have done small shows, mostly close up card magic and I don't fail to carry around a deck wherever I go!

I am very competent in intermediate sleights and have a increasing repertoire of card tricks ever since the Blackpool Magic Convention. I have been looking for a base while in Kuala Lumpur and it's refreshing to find this forum. Since I find that cards wilt faster in Malaysia, I reckon that I should start learning coin magic as well, so if anyone else could help me out in that area, that'll be appreciated!

Hey Brendan,

I'm currently back in Malaysia for the Easter break and to catch up on some intensive revision. I'm based in KL out of convenience really, and the fact that my Kampung is here as well makes it even better! Yeah I'm the current President of Magic Soc at Nottingham Uni, but about to hand over soon to the next guy, who also happens to be Malaysian!

I'm probably heading back to the UK on the 20th of April, so I shall be around for a bit. Where can I get details of the meetings?

We're having a gathering on the 22nd APril. A sunday. That sunday we have an overseas HK magician (Zenneth Kok) lecture.

It would be good if you could extend ya flight back to UK after the 22nd.
