HEy guys,
i was watching channel 17 (AXN) on astro last nigth and they advertisd abt magic show.... i think its called magic mondo. I beleive it will be screen on the 5th may. Must check it out. anyone have more idea abt this show?
All i know is there are a few well known magicians doing their stuff... blaine is in it too... etc.. etc.. street magic style.
man i can wait. i heard abt magic mondo before.... anyone got more info do let us know. im sure it will be a good magic show to watch. i wanna record it but i got no VCR player.

its on the 5th of May... confirm.. i saw the ad a few times already but not sure wat time la... i hope its at night... hehe....
it will be hours of entertainment and magic :P... Mondo magic followed by David Blaine's specials.... cool man!!! i wish i can record it!! argh!!! someone pls record it. can it be converted to cd?
i gotta check the timetable out tonite.

but a good show (like blaine levitation .. i think by now we all noe tat is camera trick)

Magic Mondo show - my review?
So so - more time spent on hype than magic - ;)
I liked the yellow pages directory trick but I think it was a set up for TV.
Liked the voodoo card trick a lot - esp the third part where the mate of the card was shown burnt. I can figure out the first 2 phases but not the third (suspect a stooge for that part as her reaction was different)
The use of a ouija board that spelled "ARM" was a nice touch - different from the normal ashes to name effect but it didn't make sense that the name turned up on his arm not the girl's. I think that the first part was edited as well so we never got to see the part before the burning of the name to make ashes .
I'm a newbie and I think I figured the effects out so it was not big l;oss for many of you who missed the show as you guys would know more than me B)
Oh, yes, I liked the credit card trick (maniplation and spinning even around his body) - saw it advertised on a video on the net somewhere sometime ago so it wasn't a new thing but it was done very well. That one was entertaining. ^_^
