Title: Fans With Disney Playing Cards
Sukyi - July 29, 2007 06:07 PM (GMT)
Was just going through some videos and a few people have asked me what the disney deck looks like. So, since I had these, I just put it together. It's only 2 types of fans, but you'll see what I mean when I say vibrant colors.

Because... you weren't there that day? I don't remember why. It was one day when me, Isaac and Yukiko went to one utama.
szehowe - July 29, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
Shit la. I think its the only day i never go and you guys get to meet and take pic with Simon Yam. God is so unfair.

Wow... very nice deck Sukyi...
I want one too.... lol.... :D
You've got nice fans there. Thumb, Reverse, Nice faro and Giant Fan... All nice... :)
yinhowe - July 30, 2007 05:18 AM (GMT)
Was the deck powdered? If not, then wow, disney decks fans very very well
Roy Foo - July 30, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
Fanning with "Disney Playing Cards" looks very beautiful.
The vibrant color surely beats the dull looking traditional "Dragon Fanning Deck". However, I'm not condemning which is better than which. What I feel is that it's time to modernize, as we are in the 21st Century as rising stars. ;)
I never expect Disney Deck could be fanned and faroed that well, as my souvenir decks from the airlines are just too stiff eventhough I've applied some fanning powder.
Great and smooth fans, a multiplying Mickey's head with a Giant Fan is a sure killer effect. Awesome~! @@
You have just inspire me to practise even more with Fans & Giant Fans. I'm sure I'll be changing a new deck soon.
Cheers

Brendan, I could help you get your hands on one if you want.
Simonskp, his wife was there, but we only took pictures with him.

there you go
Yin Howe, it wasn't powdered. I don't like powdered decks. I fan better without it! :P
Roy Foo, the deck is made my USPCC as well. So, it supposedly has the same finish as bicycle cards. However, because it is limited edition and they sell it at higher prices, I feel the cards have a better finish than bicycles. Maybe more along the lines of tally-ho's, but the cards feel thicker than Tally-Ho's. Maybe because of the vast amounts of ink they use to print.
Brendan Low - July 30, 2007 05:50 AM (GMT)
Hmmm... i wont mind trading my dragon deck for er... 5 of those disney decks....
haha...
The pics u uploaded.. is that Isaac teaching him the one handed shuffle? Oh wait... or is it the one hand revolution cut?
Christopher Ng - July 30, 2007 06:56 AM (GMT)

Can you do LePaul Spread with the Disney cards ... i think it'll look nice
Christopher Ng - July 30, 2007 05:58 PM (GMT)
Haha, i bought it in magic fest, and that time they were like just : yeah, nice... and forget it..
After sometime,
Sukyi performed the true beauty of it :P
€LePaul looks great with any decks
Sukyi - July 30, 2007 06:38 PM (GMT)
Le Paul can be quite damaging. I wouldn't want to do it as a disney deck is a one-off purchase and I wouldn't really spend the money to get another of the same.
Brendan, I didn't bring it to Magic Fest because... I only got it 2 weeks ago! :P Must have been somebody else's.
I checked it out again. Doesn't have an air cushion finish. To me, it feels more like an aviator deck but thicker. I can't help but think these cards feel very solid, but not as thick as a BTD.
Andrew Ang - August 1, 2007 11:46 AM (GMT)
Beautiful fans there Sukyi :)
xron - August 1, 2007 04:01 PM (GMT)
My daughter loves them. Now she prefers Disney decks to Bicycles!!!
Disney decks available at Megamall. Forgot the shop's name but it's one floor below the cinema next to the escalator. Also available in the Jaya Jusco(not inside JJ) shopping mall at Serdang. Priced at RM 19.90.
Sukyi - August 1, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
Andrew Ang, thanks! :)
Xron, the shop's name is "room". Has a lot of novelty items.
