erm, what card is good for manipulation? i'm looking for thin cards for palming... any idea? do steamboat playing card thin?

Well, the "Royal" brand of cards are thin and are easy to palm. However, you won't be able to fan it as you would do on Bicycles. And their sizes are small.. the flourishing won't be visually flowery.

you mean those plastic type? :o btw, i heard from ppl that japanese playing cards are quite good for manipulation, any idea which one?

Use BEES brand deck .
Break into the deck , and then clip the cards with the Nelson's card press .
Train your finger strength , Try to palm 15 cards first .
And then slowly make your way to 52 cards .

Yes, I mean those plastic type. I don't think fanning powders will work for them either ;)

thanks Kenny, i will try out with using bee decks.. but i what it is mean by break into it? make it until it's flat?>< :lol:

Refer to the McBride's Art of Card Manipulation series .
McBride teaches you a way to "break" into the deck . I think it is on Vol.2
