Amane - October 20, 2007 08:32 AM (GMT)
why don't you just order it online?

Alright, I guess MOD should redirect this post to somewhere else.
This is how Magic Garage work.
If stock in, I will deliver within 1-2days.
(there has been cases when I am sick (high fever, exam, rushing assignment, shows, etc etc will cause delay to 3 -4 days).
If I do not have stock, for example trilogy now.
I will place order every tuesday or wednesday from supplier (it will take one week to arrive). Then I will send out when it arrive. Whole process can take up to 1week - max 2weeks)

The thread's not that "terpesong" yet. :P
I'll let it be for the time being.
In the meantime, let's try and bring back to a review of the product.
Have fun discussing!

OK! REVIEW of TRILOGY... not MG! (as much as i'd like to continue on with supporting my MCG buddy)
Trilogy: Tricks, Flourishes and Everything Else.
The Tricks didn't really strike me as all that fascinating. Then again, I've gotten to a point where I dont really get all that amazed by magic. It was also a bit "potong stim" when I saw them on youtube before I did on trilogy. eg. 69 and deja vu...
Flourishes on the other hand, they were sweet. So sweet, but I couldn't really do enough to make it worth the while. They're really hard and I'd say, a little too hard for me. I'd be able to mimic the screen but when it got through, I'd already forgotten how it was done. The only thing I managed to learn on it was the carnahan fan, and that's only the right handed one.
Everything Else didn't really take off for me either. It was slightly disappointing because I thought it was going to be drastically different, but I found it to be "easier flourishes" and "simpler magic".
Don't get me wrong, if your basics are enough, you'd get a lot out of this. As for me, it was a little too much... "over load" if you will. Would strongly recommend it for someone of that skill level, but if you're not ready, I wouldn't recommend it. After all, we all know how expensive these things are.

Jeff G - October 23, 2007 05:39 AM (GMT)
This is really wierd.
I don't see any records of anyone moving this thread in the admin log.
Muhd Hilmi - October 23, 2007 10:35 AM (GMT)
Wow, Are you guys sayin someone can move the post without being the admin?? :!!:
hsjuay - October 24, 2007 07:19 AM (GMT)
maybe magic .... hocus pocus! ...anyone?
Sukyi - October 24, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
maybe it just threw me off because it was titled "Trilogy By Dananddave" So, i assumed it was a review for trilogy... my bad
Brendan Low - October 25, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
I changed the title of the topic. Yeah it was confusing.
I also thought it was supposed to be a review on TRILOGY.
Muhd Hilmi - October 25, 2007 09:03 AM (GMT)
Owhhh  That explains everything.hahahaha

if u like card flourishes and magic... trilogy would be nice to have in your video library.
of course i belief some of the content is a repeat of what u might have seen on other video... but the difference is in the performer. each magic performer have different style from each other presenting the same trick.
afterall all secrets to a trick is an open secret... almost everybody knows the secret to a trick. but what makes a trick effective is the performance. a good performance will even blow the mind off to someone who already knows the trick!
to learn flourishes or tricks can be slimplified. but u need a good tv remote control or pc playback software i.e. responsive to repeat commands...
breakdown the complete flourish/trick sequence to smaller/mini sequences... then practice mini sequence 1, after feeling confident move from sequence1 to sequence 2...and so on. slowly and steadily you'll learn the complete floursih sequence.
