Title: David Copperfield Accused Of Raping?

Illusionist Accused Of Rape Updated: 14:40, Saturday October 20, 2007

Magician David Copperfield is facing a rape claim after a woman filed a complaint against him.

According to Fox News, the woman told Seattle police the illusionist raped her while she was in the Bahamas.

Because the alleged incident happened abroad and the woman did not report it until she returned to the United States, Seattle authorities turned over the case to the FBI.

A warehouse used by Copperfield was raided by FBI officials in Las Vegas.

Seattle FBI agent Robbie Burroughs said at the time that the case was related to one in Seattle.

"The Seattle case is pending and that means we can't say anything about it," he added.

Copperfield has been contacted by law enforcement authorities, his lawyer and the FBI confirmed.

The FBI has also conducted an investigation in Las Vegas, where the magician regularly performs.

Copperfield's Las Vegas attorney, David Chesnoff, refused to give details about the charge.

"If in fact those are the allegations, unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals," Mr Chesnoff said.

"But we are confident the investigation will conclude favourably."

im not trying to be 'masin mulut" or anything but i was thinking of the same question..

the answer that i got from my head was this...

1. the show will be posponed
or
2. the show will be cancel...

my thinking is that theres no way that the cops will let david out of the country sinse he has charges on him...but then again .. all of us here doing impposible things just points out that he might come :P

It's in todays STAR papers.

He can go out of the country but he still wanna stay in to make sure things gets settled first. They giving him one week grace period.

IMO, If show is not canceled, then it will probably be postponed.

Thank God there will be a full refund.

If not .. this will be David's greatest Illusion.
Even he is not in Malaysia, he can make our Cash Vanish.

I find this news a big load of BS. David Copperfield have more or less achieve an icon status. If he wanted to have *** with a woman, I don't think he would need to go searching and hunting for one, then get accused of it.

Thinking of it.. If he was to just go out in public and ask "Who wanna sleep with me". Hell lot of woman would go rushing for him in an instant. I'm sure that woman just want the $$$. Just my opinion, a rather weird one. >.>
