i heard of using dental floss but dude....

You could always buy Yigal Mesika's elastic thread and make your own loops I think penguin magic has a video on making loops if I'm not mistaken...

Do you use loops often ?

How do you actually manage your lighting conditions cause when i was practicing it to me it was quite obvious that there is a loop around my hand... Also I have seen a video where the pack of cards was placed on the floor and the guy did a haunted pack standing there is no way the loop can stretch that long...(how the hell did he get it to stretch so long ) Just wondering if you have any tips when performing using loops...

I have search for alternative material for loops but in the end i bought Yigal Mesika's elastic thread a few week back ... have tried a few times to the lay people and they like it... but I find that the thread breaks too easily.... but after a few try you will get the hang of it...

In the Guerilla Guide to using Loops volume one,Nathan Kranzo give you a tip how to reduce the loops breakage. He ask you to stretch the loops between your two first finger of your right hand and your left hand several time before you do any trick.I had try this and it help to reduce the loop from breaking easily but for the haunted pack trick,I can only do it few time and then it will break.

I dont do the haunted pack trick anymore now, instead I just do the spirit force and possessed band trick.I dont want to waste my loops because its expensive to me.BTW,loops is great to me because you can do impressive trick anytime as long as you wear it.The bad point is, its not too invinsible.I will look foward to buy Guerilla Guide to using Loops volume two and three.

In my opinion dont buy loops, instead buy elastic thread by yigal mesika, u will get like 100 ft of it and u can tie your own loops, and if calculate it is much cheaper then buying loops( although the tying part is a bit stressfull, needs alot of practice to makeit easy for you to tie it.

And besides if u buy elastic thread you can make different hook ups then just use it for tyin your loops. I personally use more for moving objects from far using hook ups than using as loops, but i occasionally use loops and never leave home without it .

And for loops you need alot of experience on estimating when the loop is going to break or when it reaches its maximum stretch point.

Yiga Mesika RULES!hahhaha ;)

Actually floss is a good substitute in the right conditions.

wait...just so we're on the same page... the floss im talking bout here is the WHITE oral b type....not the kinda transparent one....

i dun think it works coz u can see the thing from like a mile away...(believe me...i tried on my sis..she can see it..)

Well, there are ways to make floss invisible.

Trust me, before I found out the wonders of IT, I used dental floss. Worked fine.
