since there're only 4 choices here. i vote for P&T. why? the only comedian in these 4. the other three don't really joke:P

There's more to magic than Blaine(boring), Angel(pretentious) and Cyril(double-boring) you know.

Why aren't names like Copperfield, Annemann, Houdini, Vernon or Brown on that list?

Personal vote goes to Blaine and Cyril for their own style and audience
management.

Blaine for his ability to amaze and distort his audience's reality with simple
tricks and Cyril for being creative and stylish.

And yeah, how come David Copperfield's name is not in the list?

I still say P&T, primarily because their magic is intelligent and hilarious. And I absolutely love their show "Bullsh!t".

I know some of you are gonna blast me for saying this, but personally I find the other three are basically carbon copies of each other, in different clothes.

I must acknowledge, however, that Blaine brought magic back into the limelight.

Anyway, if it were someone not on the list, I'd say Derren Brown.

lol Derren Brown is more of a hypnotist kinda person, not real magic like P&T or Cyril.

I think if we were to list down all the big names eg, Lance Burton, Fred Kaps, Jeff McBride, and etc...... It would quite be impossible... ;)
Anyway, my vote is to the Magician of Year 2007 - Cyril Takayama, for his originality and creativity in modern days magic.

I pick Penn and Teller from the list. If not, it'd be Lance Burton or Doc Eason. Or my greatest wish would be to see Robert Houdin I think.

why? coz he was the one that inspired me to do street magic...

But that doesnt mean he is better that the other guys mentioned.... just that he did stir my heart up to do magic....

My vote will be for David Blaine and Cyril. Both are great magicians the others are good too coz they bring new and exciting stuff to magic.

It's Cyril for me his ingenuity is amazing to say the least... He turned boring everyday tricks and pimped it up into amazing visual effects.. Or maybe I'm new to this magic thing so I have not been really exposed yet.. XD

I vote for David Blaine,Criss Angel and Cyril.This three are my favourite magician.I vote David Blaine because he is the one who make magic become popular and because of him I start to learn magic.For Criss Angel and Cyril,I vote them because I think they take magic into a new level.I always amaze when I watch their magic.BTW,I think Criss Angel show is the most entertaining compare to the other two.
