im thinking of buying a TT but what is all this vernet, vynil, soft rubber, argh..im dizzy... can someone tell what i should be looking for in a TT ????

Vernet is the brand. Soft rubber is the softness. And vynil, i don't know what is this :D

You might have meant vinyl? Most probably a material type too, like soft rubber.
The audience isn't even supposed to see it, so as long as you make sure it is large enough to put stuff into, but not too big so it won't fit nicely, it should be okay.
Magicians have even used those black film canisters as TTs and never been caught out. You might want to start out with those first.

whats a black film canister????? i dun think i understand :P ... so even if my skin is a lil darker then the thumb it would be ok??

If you do it right, it doesn't matter if it is fluorescent candy stripe pink and white.

Ya, vynil is a soft rubber like plastic material. It's not hard like normal plastic. I have even heard its fire proof.(good for vanishing cigarette). But never try thou. Rubber material tip can degrade in quality over time.
The black canister is the "black case" to keep the camera negative film rolls. the one with a gray lid. Correct me if im wrong.

Maybe now in the digital age people have not seen a film canister before.. :D
But in my opinion its kinda gigantic to be used as a TT, unless you have huge.. um.. body parts. ;)
