I caught the Golden Horse Award on TV and was surprised to see Cyril performing close-up on stage. Whoop~!
I was expecting him to perform his FISM Act or something out of the box and even Lu Chen has high expectation on him. I won't say it's a dissappointment as he did manage to amaze and entertain the audience.
I just feel he should be doing something "Big" with that kind of pay.
I guess the taiwanese organiser were too rich then... ;)
I read from Lu Chen's Blog, Cyril has open a price talk of 10,000,000 Japanese Yen for 10 minutes act, which is equavallent to USD$ 89,000.
USD$ 89,000 for a 10 minutes act, that's USD$ 890,000 for a 1 Hour show.
I guess he has broken the Guinness World Record for the Highest Paid Entertainer in 10 minutes.

The translator quite annoying. I doubt most of the people understand what he's trying to do. And why the choose Aaron up there, why not choosing LiuDeHua? Anyway, Cyril did a great job especially the last part.

Whatever he do,he still manage to amaze all the spectator so its okay even though its a simple trick but to pay him that much for this 10 minute trick,I think its to much.BTW,The two spectator on the stage seem to be overjoy!

The trick was nicely done....
I like the effect.
The two specs werent very attentive and took his magic as a joke really. Thats how i felt. But good thing Cyril kept on with it and kept going and still manage to astonish them especially with the pop up move and the card to sealed pack.
well done cyril.
And abt his pay... well... no comment.... LOL

Not a great translator!
I think Cyril said something like "Black magic"....but the translator translated it as 'African American magic' to the crowd :blink:
