Title: Silkworms Iet
Description: Good stuff :)

David Loh - December 17, 2007 01:13 PM (GMT)
Got my Silkworms from Isaac, and after days of testing them, they're
really good stuff. For those who don't know, Silkworms are IET and a
generous 500 feet are provided. The ones I got are clear (transparent).

Here are my findings comparing them to Mesika's...

PROs
- Same strength as Mesika's
- Thinner than Mesika's
- Very invisible when you color it black
- 500 feet provided, thats like thousands of loops provided
- Totally invisible if not colored and used under optimal conditions

CONs
- Not as elastic as Mesika's
- Invisible to yourself if you don't color it black
- Glares and shines alot of you leave it transparent
- Takes a long time to get used to it compared to Mesika's
- Elasticity/Strength reduced if you color it yourself the wrong way
- Some slight D.I.Y work required... not much of a CON actually

Overall a good quality IET. Recommended for those who use Mesika's loops
and burn a hole in their wallet from snapping them.

It comes up to around RM60 and you can get it from
- Magic Garage (where I got it)
- Precision Magic (direct from the makers in US)

Owhhh, I didnt know that there is an alternative to mesika IET.

Dude, I got one question, is it easier to tie them into a loop ?

Quite, with certain cheap stuff bought from the bookstore to aid you in
tying. I'd say there is a learning curve on tying the loops, but after failing
5-6 tries... you'll get used to it and pump out dozens within half hour.

Adrian Khoo, he's the master. He tied the loop using nothing but my wrist
and his fingers.

Wow wow... Easy there.. No master here ya. I did use something to aid.... :P Actually wanted to ask u about the IET sooner or later. But u've already posted it. Well, Thanks alot for the review then :)
