Nice to see our own magic site here in Malaysia. Living in KL. Been in magic since five years back due to ellusionist.com. Haha! But not actively practising, only about 10 - 15 tricks in my head if suddenly asked to do some magic.
Tricks I do: -
1. Mentalism - mostly with cards, sometimes impromptu if given the advantage to know something before hand.
2. Rubberband - best impromptu trick to my opinion. Coin is good too, but I tend to 'flash', especially when surrounded.
3. Normal card magic - when the setting is right.
4. IT - with tissue papers.
I noticed in Malaysia, you don't get to have a 'right' setting with tables and all. That's why I don't use props. It'll be a little weird to invite people to sit down, then take out some gimmicks to put on the table. Imagine taking out cups and balls while eating at mamak.
Best reaction thus far: - Doing the Osterlind's Breakthrough System (naming of all the cards in a clump of cards they chose) while driving with two passenger friends.
Shops: - I'm more into DVDs and Books coz' I don't use props much. Oh, I do use Black and White Surprise A LOT though for kids and young adults. Used to buy DVDs from themagicwarehouse, but hey, the Magic Ring of Times Square charges at a lot lower price! Summore no shipping. Good deal.
Anyway, long post already. Nice to meet y'all.

I know abt the breakthrough system but i dunnola... its just so hard for me to stack the deck up. Not easy for me to remember the sequence. i should take the effort to learn it well one day.
