Bobo's Modern Coin Magic book is known to be the BOOK to kick off coin magic...
What bout DVD??
Is Ammar's Complete Introduction to Coin Magic good enough to learn the basics??

I know there are some David Roth's videos out there too....
but is Ammar's equal to it?

I've heard many satisfaction with Sankey's Revolutionary Coin Magic being their first coin stuff. I haven't watched the DVD (looking forward to).

I started my Coin Magic Journey with Michael Ammar's Complete Introduction to Coin Magic. IMO, it is suffice to make begin with.

If you want more sleights, you can check out David Roth's 3-in-1 DVD on Coin Sleights of Michael Rubinstein's Encyclopedia of Coin Sleight DVDs.

Personally, i like Michael Rubinstein's DVDs the most as it covers a ton of stuff, including sleight for jumbo coin. Imagine be able to do the "Rete***** Vani**"" with a Jumbo Coin!!

Sankey's Revolutionary Coin Magic is much better for those interested in learning routines. But its is indeed a very good coin magic DVD. In addition, the DVD has bonuses which the VHS version does not have.

cheers! B)

from what i've read in forums, everyone says jay sankey's revolutionary coin magic is not for beginners, but for those who already know their basics

Besides David Roth, how about David Stone? I think he's great too. And maybe some of you can get some idea from coinvanish.com. There has very comprehensive and bias-free review on pretty much coin magic videos on the market. Anyway just my humble opinion, hope it helps.
