Title: Meaning Of Oop
Description: yup dictionary time

Hi guys,
When a book is said to be OOP, it means that they have stopped production of them and hence, the copies are limited. But that does not mean the books are no longer available from stores.
You can still find them if you are hardworking :P just like recently i found stores, which still have stock on 'OOP' books not the reprint:
Annotated Erdnase by Darwin Ortiz
Drawing Room Deceptions by Guy Hollingworth
The Art of Bottom Dealing by Gene Maze
Sheherazade by Borodin
Imagication by TG Murphy
But best to email the stores to confirm the availability least they are actually lying. There are some stores that do this. So better to be safe than sorry
Hence, keep searching if you do not want to bid for 'OOP' books at high prices on ebay!
Just thought I should mention this in case anyone wants to buy them from ebay at atrocious prices.
Of cos, there are really many books that are OOP and where most shops no longer have any stock on them. For these, i guess you have no choice
Anyway, the following books have been reprinted:
By Forces Unseen
Foucs by Max Maven
Compleat Invocation 3
Strong Magic
Totally Out of Control by Chris Kenner
Hope i have been some help and helped save some people's wallet!
Cheers! B)

I think OOP meaning to the publishers that they have stopped the productions and they don't have any of the respective products in their stocks.
Yes, we still can find from other shops.

Yup, you are right there Andrew! B)
When OOP is applied to the publisher, it just means that the publisher will no longer print anymore of that book. But it does not necessarily mean he does not have any more left. you have to email him to confirm. Thats how i got some of my books which are listed OOP on many sites or cant be gotten by the local dealers. (Don't you just love email! )
When OOP is seen in dealers' sites, such as murphy supplies, etc, it just means that the book is no longer in their inventory (no stocks) and they cant even do a back order on it cos it is no longer being manufactured.
Hence, what ever is left with any magic stores will be the only amount available to consumers.
Cheers! B)
