Hi Guys:

I wonder if you have heard of a type of force which, the "forcer" can tell u right before hand what card u are going to choose and you will still choose that card?

In addition:

1) No matter how many times you choose, you will still choose the same card
2) You can take your sweet time to hover your finger over the spread, then
when you choose, it will still be the force card
3) You can change your mind and select another card, it will still be the force card
3) The deck is not gimmicked, no gimmick is involved
4) You can even pass your own deck to the "Forcer" and he will make you choose
that card

In short:

The "forcer" can fool you multiple times even if you know you are being forced!

Sounds interesting right?

wow, just read it...
at first I thought it's a marketed effect, but it appears that it's just some skillful force by a magician.
Didn't ready thru the whole thing (too long..heh)
but does the spectator remove the card himself?

Yes, the spectator removes the card by himself.

Guys:

This force works in such a way that no matter which card you choose, you will still choose the same card.

You are allowed to hover your finger on the spread. Even if you initially wanted to choose A card, but you change your mind to B card, and then you change your mind again to choose C card, and eventually you select D card, you will still get the card which the "forcer" wants you to choose...

The experience according to the magician who kena this force:

"He spread the cards, and then allowed me to HOVER over the spread with my pinched thumb and forefinger, until I visually decided on one card in the spread, and I then was allowed to grasp that card with my thumb and forefinger and freely remove it from the spread. Period. NO timing thing as in your standard classic force.

I was allowed to take all the time I wanted and pinch anywhere in the spread. High, middle, or bottom"

According to the magician who is currently learning the force, this force needs to be learnt in person, and it involves the element of "breathing"...

The "forcer" currently lives in Michigan (Kalamazoo), name: "Tony Gerard", operates a Magic Shop, name of this shop "Timid Rabbit".

Accroding to one magician:

"If you ever met Tony (He's a FFFF member) I'd suggest you approach him and tell him you heard about his force. He'd usually be happy to demonstrate"

If you guys happen to travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan, may be you would like to check out Tony?

Lolz, don't think I'll ever be going there... Weird that Kenton Knepper didn't come up with something like this first though; you'd expect something of this sort to appear in something like his "Miracles of Suggestion" or whatnot.

Sounds pretty cool... No, actually it sounds bloody cool! But for now I shall be forcing cards with my Svengali. :P

Why is it called the "Idiosyncratic" Force though?

Regards,
Shan

Yes, this really sounds cool. ^_^

But I don't think this is easy to do though, sure involve some special move. ^_^

Yap, according to the magician, one of the special moves is "Breathing"
