you see in September, Lee Asher will be coming down for a magic lecture....
however on the same day he's giving a lecture, my friends are planning to go to Brisbane for 5 nights 6 days for a uni convention..and it's only $350 (include all food, transport, drinks, bowling, disco, theme parks like Dream World, accomodation, only doesn't include air fare).

I would love to go to Brisbane, but it's Lee Asher! (though I'm not a big fan of him, but it's Lee Asher!).
Do you guys find yourself ditching friends for magic?

a toughie... but u gotta analyse it dude. Come on, how often do u get to see LEE ASHER the man himself? I think its either now or almost never rite? To me magic convention or getting to meet someone famous is really awesome.

I mean ya frens will always be ya frens, and u can always hang out with them other times. Im sure they will understand.

How long wil LEE ASHER be there? how many days lecture? If only a day, ask ya fren if possible to postpone it a day or not etc or meet them in Brisbane a day later?

Watever it is, ill still attend LEE ASHER lectures man. Surely it will be great. u will surely gain someting there.

YEah, so for me... ASHER (i like him, coz he a lefty and he handles the cards superbly well... and his DL/DBD... Z best!) then only HOLIDAY... (as explained in my reason above).

Gf's bday? hehe.... does she enjoy magic? if yes, bring her along to the show.

But if asher is going to teach, then hehe.... i dont think its wise to bring her along. but if its a performance show. why not, provided she enjoys magic. if not, of course gf comes first man.

but if u are desperate to attend the show, then u can always give a suprise bday for her a day or two before the actual day. Then, go to the show together....
