Hmm, just to let you guys know, this isn't a magical thing, and it's NOT my creation....it's just something fun to play with which I found out not too long ago...

get a chicken or fish to look at it, maybe they'll freak out
hahaha

Brendan Low - June 17, 2005 06:36 AM (GMT)

how do we humans view it 2D? can ah? lol

Eric Liew - June 17, 2005 07:28 AM (GMT)
actually i'm not sure bout the 2D..i made it up...
what i heard from others is that u need to see it from a distance.

i know this is a old old topic .. but .. wt*..

is this real ? anything special required or just the printed and folded dragon?

is that your own DIY dragon u filmed on ?

:o

anyone that done this other than Eryanic?

I got it to work! Hahaha! You gotta be careful when folding it and observe the "mountain folds" and "valley folds" that's illustrated on the diagram.

Basically if you have the body of the dragon facing you with "Gathering for Gardner" facing you, the head of the dragon is folded inwards toward you and not outwards to the back of the dragon. I'm hope I'm making sense here.

The story of you having to view it in 2D is true. You can only achieve the correct effect if you view the dragon with one eye. Just close one eye and look at it from different angles. As on how to fold the head to achieve this effect I have provided some images of my folded Gardner Dragon. Hope this helps. Enjoy your Gardner Dragon!
