dam0n - June 22, 2005 07:06 AM (GMT)
How bout we all start making some lame-for fun vids around magic?more snap changes and shapeshifters and edrnase color changes??lol~~~~
anything...or your signature "move" or a move you need comment on progress...
=) that way perhaps we all may gain some egoistic boost..lolz~..and all vids could include a remark about MMF...

I've a better idea... I've created a free acct at http://members.freewebs.com/ ... its still under probation, it can be use after 7 days from today.

in order to upload your video in future,

1. goto http://members.freewebs.com/

2. login as :- mmfvid password as :- magic

3. goto "Site Manager" from the button on your LEFT frame.

4. click on the "Upload a File". You'll popup for another smaller frame (disable your poopup blocker, if you have any). You can also upload multiple files(5 max) at once, just click on the "Multiple File Uploader"

5. choose the file and upload. Once the upload is completed, it will shows under your "Site Manager".

6. Click on the file and you'll popup ANOTHER page, which lead you to the file. copy that URL, that's the direct link to your file/page/whatever crap.

P/S : account only can be used AFTER June 29th 2005. Enjoy the free hosting by freewebs.com

dam0n, I'm using the yahoo email account you created as the primary email address for this freewebs page. So, whatever mail by freewebs will goes into this email. Hope u're ok with it. Cheers.

freewebs has a limited bandwith & file upload (5mbs per file) and downloading from it's free server is kinda really slow...lol...and uploading a vid there isn't the most user-friendly moment I've encountered..=)..but anything will do..just a space for ppl to upload magic vids

ChongWei - June 22, 2005 07:45 AM (GMT)
dam0n : yes, that certainly is the issue. but the problem is, u cant share the file without loggin in if u uses a yahoo acct. Found any better site, do let me know.. been searching for one.. ^_^

dam0n - June 22, 2005 07:57 AM (GMT)

Sigh..... :( - We actually don't have a place where we can upload our video clips. How good if we have so that we can contribute to this forum.

dam0n - June 23, 2005 03:31 AM (GMT)
haha..andrew..hw bout freeing up some bandwith space in ur homepage to upload?
btw..u have card fictions right?

Andrew Loh - August 30, 2005 03:52 PM (GMT)
Hi damON,

Sorry for discovering this late, are you kidding?? I have some problem too about the webpage at freewebs.com, the pages I can upload is to maximum 40 ~ 50, more than that, I can't upload any webpages anymore.

About the card fictions, yeah on the way to my house, I heard that this book has a lot of great reviews and the effects are very clever. So, without thinking too much and as a collector, I just bought it. ^_^

Andrew

dam0n - August 31, 2005 08:53 AM (GMT)
I understand u normally bulk buy..what else is on its way?

when's ur new book coming out btw? B)

Andrew Loh - August 31, 2005 03:03 PM (GMT)
Hi DamOn,

Currently, no purchase, after 1 or 2 weeks, will purchase 8 books probably classic and mixture of modern authors books.

How about you???

I am now compiling all my materials and I had made an adjustments of reducing my effects to 14 card effects, as I can't put more than that as the costs of it would be costly.

The card effects that you find in this book are high probability there are practical though some of the effects you need require some knuckle-busting, but overall, it still depends on you guys after reading my book. ;)

Effects like The Collectors, The Keepers, Elite Thieves, etc, I enjoy performing all the time to laymen and it goes down very well to them.

The effect I feel most satisfy with me is the Walton's Collectors. I have been trying to develope the method for more easier handling, and now, luckily just the past few weeks, I have just found the practical solution which suit my style of handling.

There are actually 40 effects which currently have in my pocket, I'm just extracted out 14 first and I am sure these 14 effects would serve you well. :)

Thanks!

Cheers,
Andrew

Hey, if the total FX are 40-50, I don't mind paying RM80-100 for that.

I think reduce until 14 too little.

You only limited 30 books, so try to include all, the more the merrier!!

Andrew Loh - September 1, 2005 02:45 PM (GMT)
Hi Aerox,

 - If the response is very good, then maybe how about volume 2? ^_^

The purpose I don't include all 40 effects in my this new book is because I am sure the other balance of the effects, I can enhance or improve the effects.

It still depends on the response, well Aerox, - It's a big risks for me to produce too many books one at a time, because this is my 1st time in writing card magic book, you know what I mean and the task wow, is not easy though but it was enjoy, worth the effort. ^_^

Thanks guys, my book is going to come out soonly, I am just left some a little bit of editing works as well as some illustrations and designs, maybe hopefully under GOD blessing, everything go smoothly. ^_^

Best regards,
Andrew

dam0n - September 1, 2005 04:23 PM (GMT)
g'luck with yer book...quality of over quantity...

classic and modern..hmmm...

me....actually gonna get SM by ortiz soon for some light reading....

how'd you find secrets draun underground? particularly interested in "tabled breakless control" and his description on the fan ******e..

Andrew Loh - September 2, 2005 01:43 AM (GMT)
Hi DamOn,

Thanks! ^_^

Yeah, SM by Ortiz is a great book in theory. Though I do not have at this moment, I have asked numerous of ppl who have this book, the response of this book just overwheming.

The Steve Draun book........... hmmm........... well to be honest, Steve covered a lot of card moves and sleights, well a number of them are very advanced, but I don't used much of his move in my repetoire.

If you are going to expect quality and powerful card magic, so Steve's book is surely not your cup of tea.

Overall, I am not saying that Steve's book is not good, I think it's excellent, the effects he covered just a few, so, if you kind of person who likes a lot of card magic, then this book you have to think carefully before you invest.

Hope this helps, B)
Andrew
