Flourish or XCM is a very cool thing to be doing. I love to jam with flourishers. Im sure most of us learn from various sources such as brian tudor's showoff vids and dan and dave system dvd. There are other sources too.

If u are a beginner but really like to take flourish up, and have no flourish material, u can go visit www.mredux.tk. Its Kevin Ho's site, an awesome flourisher in spore. Its got free tutes there. B)

Beginners, my advice is learn to do charlier cuts, with both hands... also learn one hand-revolution cut. its great!!! then start with simple sybils... once u can get the basics, with much practice u can only get better and better.

From my visit to KL, ive met some cool flourishers and some have even invented their own variations of cuts. some good stuff. keep it up.

End of this year i beleive we gonna have another big gathering. Hope to get some hardcore and super keen flourishers in msia to jam with. meanwhile practice hard. Looking forward to jamming with u guys soon.

flourish arr. I love to learn it but since i am so fresh right, do u think i should learn basic skills and routines first or i can learn to flourish at the same time??

how u handle the cards will determine ya flourish style. if u are smooth and slick, then u can be smooth with ya cuts too. As beginner, there's no harm trying simple flourish out. start with charlier cuts.

when practicing flourish, remember, dont go for speed. go for smoothness first and speed will come naturally! ive seen some people doing their cuts so fast that they jerk at certain points of the cuts and that i think does not look as nice as if u do it slower but smooth... go with the flow man. dont rush!

yeah it's cool to jamming with flourishers. Hopefully get to see some original flourishes from you guys. (haha pretty hard huh, but challenging.)
