Title: Linking Rings

Jeff Gan - June 28, 2005 04:37 AM (GMT)
the set i bought has a very small **p (about 2mm). its hard to get the rings to link and unlink As i've never done linking rings before, is this normal or is the **p too small ? Do i have to force it manually until it becomes about 6 -10 mm?

any advise would be great. thanks

Hey rainking, i kinda edit try to reduce as much exposure abt ya question. lol.. u never know who read in this forum. anyway, dunno if everyone knows the secrets of the linking rings.

abt the ***, u can try to make it bigger no harm. as long as there's enough cover.

u know, i m quite bad at LR coz i always get my flesh nipped. Ouch! i dunno if u guys get that b4.

Keep practicing, show me next time i see u

Cheers,
Brendan

Is it a set of big rings or small Ninja Ring size rings?

2 mm sound way too small, especially if you wanna do the more fancyful links. Did you mean 2 cm?

Even 2 cm sounds too small. Unless it's a set of locking rings, or else the size of the **p shouldn't be too small. After all, it's never seen so it's not a biggie.

Make it bigger. B)

its about 4 inches in diameter. its 2mm not 2cm. thats what got me wondering.
i thought it have to like smash it hard against each other for it to link, heheheh.

will force the **p bigger. btw, its not the locking variety.

Oh, in that case, you have to make it bigger, MUCH BIGGER.

Coz it's forever under cover, it's not a problem. I saw some LR's **p as wide as 1/2 the performer's palm. It's actually more deceptive because the easier and smoother you can link and unlink, the less likely they will see it or know it.

I always face with the "flesh nipped" problem. That's why I'm now using "1/2 the performer's palm" ***p. However, I won't recommend you to use this key ring which is that wide for close-up.

Just wondering.. how is your routine coming along ?

Jeff Gan - August 15, 2005 03:58 AM (GMT)

was preoccupied with work, and other distractions.

chern, heard u are DA MAN when it comes to rings. or maybe one of DA MEN :P
hope u can teach me something someday.

Thanks
