hmm.. i dont know how he looks like tho. really wondering why he has to be so mysterious.. lol. yeah, he got some great moves but from what i heard from others, his attitude isnt vry good as he likes to ban members from forum with no reason and hes vry vry proud. i read some posts he wrote and he doesnt sound freindly. some yes.. anyway.. this might be rumors n might be truth.. i stil like some of his moves tho..

Brendan Low - June 29, 2005 04:22 AM (GMT)
zhe ming, ive heard such comments abt him too. hmmm.. im not a handzlord member and thus i dunno anything that goes around there.

so i cant judge a person without knowing him. No body knows wat he looks like as he never revealed his pic b4. Only few know wat he looks like but those who know wat he looks like keeps it quiet.

From wat i know he should be quite old, maybe above 40s, 50s??? im not sure. but think abt it.. an old dude with great card manipulation skills. wow.. i might be wrong,.. he might be only in his 30s?

All i know is Devo has return back to Germany and decided to spend more time with his family :)

The video is called superhandz xtreme flourishes. I remember when superhandz first debut on the net and one of the videos which he does an armspread then turn around catch with a one hand fan on the other hand. That one does show him as well but I don't have that video anymore.

I won't say he is creative, he's been hanging out with the ulmen ppl and stuff when he's in germany so sure either inspiration with each other or also trade moves with each other....

The truth is maybe devo got pressured or something or got really bored so he decided to mess with the flourishers at the magic cafe by registering multiple accounts and posting things that can incite flames. The reasons can be for promoting his material in a way the net calls viral marketing ("Cradle to Grave", "Devo", "Superhandz") which spreads through word of mouth and also keep the newbie magicians away and avoid exposures and maybe he got mailed by many newbie kid magicians therefore causing spam in his drive so he takes out his anger in there hoping to hurt some possible kid magician in there.

Hmm.... more likely that it's because he started the fame and trend with XCM so he was frustrated for not earning more money than he has at the moment. Cobra Cut was the attraction from that site.

Right now Devo seems to act better a bit. Past year, he's like very immature. He doesn't know how to act professionally so it seemed. I guess his mind grows up slower than his body but heh, just a guess. :P

"The tape incident"?

You guys know about the whole SSS deal that he uses tape and stuff (head over to SMC, I'm too lazy to check it out again myself :)). What's that all about?

I dunno man... he's great, skillful, and all, and from the post I read at superhandz he isn't that bad. But I've heard some messed up things about him as well, so.. I don't know.

Dear All,
Here is what Devo wrote explaining the SSS. I got this from SMC. I think it was roiginally taken from Handzlord forum.

Cheers!

Here are some fun facts for the CTG DVD....

The Box in the beginning of the teaching section was turned by having a long chop stick shoved through the bottom of it... gave a neat smooth turning look.

Ulmen Trial clips
Since the moves on the Ulmen Trials section were not actual performances... Jerry and I through some things together quickly for this part. Also since we didn't want to give away methods and so on, we just set up quick clips for each of the steps.... some of them were pretty comical.

Here are some fun facts for this section
The SSS for this particular cilp wasn't a real performance, we made a model so we could get it closer to the camera and turn it so you could see through it.... using a real SSS wouldn't be possible for moving in quickly and turning...

The thumbs tied behind the back wasn't filmed behind the back.... it was filmed from the front.

Jerry's 30 packet display was set up and very humorous... it was meant to be funny, with all those packets on the leg.. We had a great time with it!lol... funny stuff.

Other clips -
There were some other things that were purposely put in the DVD for the puzzles that we ran for the first 2 years. If you look closely, you can see some cards dropping in the intro section. Can you find it? The winner of this puzzle did find it and won a prize.

When the cards were spread at the end... a card was missing, what was the card? The winner of this puzzle found it and won a prize.

There are more fun facts coming... hope you enjoy them.

Aerox, I'm thinking that you're confusing Jerry with De'vo. Jerry was the one who did that in the Xtreme Flourishes video.

oic. thanks for clearing that up. I thought Jerry was a thin guy. I guess it was all Jerry. Seen that "guy" performed in quite a few Superhandz videos.

Like Brad Christian, De'vo is a successful businessman.
Some suspect Jerry IS De'vo. I doubt so.
Anyway, De'vo is good. He's original. His cobra concept is well created.
Cheers for that.
But he's not getting any better?
He's just concerned about earning money through dvds now. Oh well, that's what i think

I remember Devo put on the website during the superhandz debut saying his son who created the cut combo where a tabled deck is cut into three held at the long sides with one packet non-aerial flip 180 and then back. Now he puts it as he himself created it and no mention of his son anywhere anymore.
