Hey all...are we suppose to plan to have a meeting at Malacca for our next MMF meeting? i am proposing the below:-

Date: 13th Aug 05 and 14th Aug 05
Place: Malacca
Venue: TBA

We need some ppl to volunteer to drive. Transport cost is divided among the number of occupants in the car and accomodation is among the amount of ppl staying in the place. I estimate around RM60 per person for transport and room.

Just asking..why are we staying overnight there? can it be a one-day thing? :)

I am supportive of all MMF program but not sure about my schedule in August yet.
Anyway if it is going to be overnight then we should have a 2 day agenda. If not then my suggestion is just a day event and no need stay over night. Includes plans on where we can makan together too... I heard of Melaka satay celup and chicken rice balls.
The food is magical there too :)

Brendan perhaps you could come out with some interesting agenda and plans to attract more members to register.

Fellow MMF members, Please chip in your ideas and suggestion to Brendan and be fully supportive of him. Of course the best support is your attendance.

i suggest overnight cause its tiring for the driver to drive up and down on the same day and we sure got ppl who leave late on sat cause they have to work in the morning.imagine if its a one day trip and then u drive down around 2 pm and then about 2 have to go back.... <_<

if overnight then we have the whole night to jam and then the next morning... wouldn't it be cool??? on the other hand, how many food do u think we can cover in a one day trip??? we have to have ample time to digest the food right???hahahah

hey brendan, i leave the schedule of the 2 days to you... and also the accomodation. i saw the last time that u said that we can get something like an service apartment for a cheap price. mind check it out???

1) Baba and nyonya food (Restaurant Bibik Neo- typical Nyonya home cooked food)
2) Umbai Ikan Bakar (quite far but hmmm depends lol... its seafood and nasi lemak)
3) Chicken Ball rice (i guess u have to have this...)
4) Satay Celup (hmm.... if u are ok with it. heard some not so good things abt it lol... i think u know wat i mean.... hygine)
5) Tangkak Beef Noodle (nice :) )
6) Taiwan mee (nice)
7) Plenty of Hawkers

I just got back from Indonesia... amazing short vacation I had :) So anyways, I personally can't give a nod for myself yet, because nothing's certain for me in the next 2 weeks (it's all depending on my college).
