Creating this post as sort of a TV guide to highlight members about shows upcoming on Malaysian TV .

I think we should limit conversation here unless its about the show (like what channel, who's performing, what time) I feel reviews should not be on this thread to keep it straight to the point. what do you guys think?

I think Mondo magic is on every Mondays rite? two episodes back to back.

Man, last week i saw Chris Korn stabbing his hands into the sharp thick nail.... man... he slamed so hard wow... i was like eeeeoooouch!!! Man, u can see how dangerous magic can be when ur not careful or when u do a mistake.

so nice to watch magic on TV.... how i wish i can be the magician and travel and perform and entertain people around the country.

The magic performance came on rather late in the show...
The guy was a TV actor, he and a lady did a transposition effect (something like the Pendragons/DC style) and also an effect where the magician appears from an elevated platform which is covered in Paper/fabric (??) (also kinda similiar to DC style)

I dont know what they're called so I'm calling them DC (coppefield) style...but perhaps the more experienced or pro guys here can give us the proper names for these effects?

The only hitch was the guy's floating glass didnt quite turn out right.
He also gave thanks to his teachers, Nicholas Kong and Kenneth (take a bow, sirs :D )

the appreace illusion was design by nicholas , and the restaurant scene routines was design by kenneth n the last effect which is subtrunk was train by kenneth n nicholas. those r not pro magician , so they have limited time to practice ...... it is not fair for me to jugde .

actually, I don't feel qualified to comment as I'm only a hobbyist who doesnt do any public performance. If i was in his position, I'll probably die of stagefright there and then. :blink:

but since u asked me, I loved the subsitution trunk routine, but found the restaurant part not so smooth.

Overall I thought it was a good effort but could have been better.

Yeah, agree with Rainking. Those performers are actually local actors and actresses. Yup, the floating's performance that guy did was a little bit strange but overall I considered them are very good already since I heard they said that they just had a few months practise the acts. ^_^
