Title: M5
Description: questions

Jeff Gan - October 4, 2005 08:11 AM (GMT)
I saw someone using one the other day, was very impressed with what i saw.
Anyone has this? If so, please give your reviews.
And anyone wants to sell it off "ahem" cheaply, please contact me :P

And anyone has found a good (and cheaper) alternative to it?

Joe Xavier - October 5, 2005 03:45 AM (GMT)
Once you know how M5 works, a few people can share to get a set of the same materials from thinkgeek.com.
Extremely powerful. Not at liberty to discuss the secret though. But if you know what you're looking for, you'll find it...

Jeff Gan - October 5, 2005 04:17 AM (GMT)
i'm worried about clearing Customs.
If u know what i mean.

btw, I've checked out the site you refered me to.
Thats not good enough, as I already have some of that. It cant do what I want it to.

thanks anyway.
btw, did u read about the suggested uses for it under thinkgeek.com?

3. Is it worth the price or should i spend omeny on cards and other gimmicks?
4. Do people believe wad they see if i use american coins?

I have the M5 - one of my 1st magic purchases as i was so impressed with the demo video. I have since learnt to be wiser. I have not really used it for reasons similar to the ones Jeff gave. I bruised myself a few days back using it (those who use it will know how that can happen).

But the possibilities for the use for M5 are many and great. Everyone now and then I take it out (since I paid so much for it) and fiddle with it, playing with ideas etc. A lot of applications but it will take time and effort to develop. For example, I have worked out the details for one cool aplication I have worked out as a powerful teaching lesson but have not yet used it, as I still haven't figured how to present it well.

I think it will be great for sit down magic (magic ar a table) if you are into that BUT not really that great for street magic (which I bought it for .. hence my lack of use of it).

Hope this helps.

Want to buy my M5? ^_^

Chessycake

One other thing ... if you are thinking fo the M5 is just for coin magic - I don't think it is worth it at all.
But if you are thinking of the wider PK use and are imaginative, then it might be worth considering.

Jeff - November 8, 2005 06:08 AM (GMT)
yeah.. if u wanna do coin magic with m5. 4get it.. just use raven or even better the revolution ;)

Axzel - November 9, 2005 04:59 PM (GMT)
